Exotic Drop Rate
So after grinding since the Forsaken update I finally received my first Forsaken exotic. This did not make me feel like I earned the reward, it just made me feel like I will not see another Exotic for a very long time which is true. I have grinded and grinded. I have done literally everything that has an Icon on it in the hopes I would see more than one. Bungie if you do not start rewarding players for their trouble your player base is going to go back to D2 after the first 6 months. I mean come on this is a game that has been out for two years and it's still in development, my bad BETA. This should be called Destiny 3 Beta because that is what it actually is. You started working on D3 way before you can even see a future for D2. How about you finish this game before you start a new one. I don't want the leaders over at Activision to decide one day to say hey, let's get as much money as we can make the trailers look good and release a shitty game. Fix the reward system for Destiny 2, give us the rewards that we work for or put Exotics behind a certain light level required quest. Suggestion for Destiny 3, do not make us start from new, carry all of our characters over from Destiny 2 to Destiny 3 so if we want to go back and get a weapon in Destiny 2 that we don't have in Destiny 3 we can. For Destiny 3 create all new weapons and port over the maps from Destiny 2. Port over Supers, Exotics, Weapons, Raids, Nightfalls, Armor, Ships, Sparrows, Ghosts, Shaders, literally everything in Destiny 2. For the light cap in Destiny 3, what ever the highest light you will bring to Destiny 2 hopefully 800 set the starting light cap in Destiny 3 at 800 and increase it from there. Lastly hear your fanbase. How can you have a fanbase and choose not to hear them. Do not be another Blizzard with their release of Diablo Immortal.

5 RespuestasI agree with all of this. I'm going on 4 weeks without a single exotic drop. No duplicates, no new, NOTHING. I haven't had a single forsaken exotic drop since forsaken release. Ive decided to give this week reset (grind) a chance, but if I don't pick up a single exotic drop I will be done with this franchise for good. I don't even feel like I'm being entitled or spoiled or any of that BS. I'm just flat out fed up with the lack of rewards from this "looter-shooter".

9 RespuestasFirst off, I believe the RNG is properly broken in this game. There was a test done by 3 players on Reddit a while back related to gear drops. They found it’s linked to the amount of enemies you kill anywhere in the game. My point is, to all you speed runners out there moaning you aren’t getting any drops maybe you should shoot some stuff instead of just running to the end and shooting one guy.

I've gotten to 599 on my titan and 575 on my hunter nd not one exotic has dropped. Kinda low and depressing really. I want to know what you actual have to do to get one

I got in the past 5 days, 2 merciless (I've gotten that 9 times already) and a Verity's brow (I got that 3 times already). This bullshit "fix" of there's is obviously another -blam!-ing scheme they're trying to pull like they did last year a couple times. I'm so -blam!-ing done with this bullshit.

The drop rate is junk; I've seen more exotic duplicates since this "boosted" rate since season 1. Absolute crap to grind and grind and never get anything new. Different roles on armor is a shit replacement for something to spice up the game again. No one puts on a head piece with a different perk and say hey lets go run the raid, nightfall or strike to see what it works like. Or jumps in Crucible or Gambit... its crap. Weapons make this game but apparently duplicate armor is a better solution.

I don’t understand why they don’t add threshold’s to their RnG... for example, a player does activities that can drop an exotic X amount of times before the chance increases eventually resulting in a 100% chance (like the NF specific drops are now when you farm for them)... and make the exotic drops cater to one’s you don’t have eventually landing at a 100% chance. I totally get the “oh yessss I got the SOME_EXOTIC”, but the Forsaken armor is so much better than the rest, that’s it’s pretty BS at how low the drop rates are. Luck != Skill and I think Bungie needs to realize that more.

Exotics need some serious work. Too many lackluster exotics competing against a handful of damn near OP pieces. And drops are still insanely rare. And dupes, far too common. My last four exotics? All dupes, and two of them were old campaign rewards. This shit shouldn't be in the loot pool! Xur is still useless to anyone who played during year 1. Exotics have gone from exiting, to exasperating. I don't celebrate when one drops. I let out a sigh of relief, or frustration, and move on. Bring the thrill back!

7 RespuestasThey don't give a shit about people's time. It's week 12 of Forsaken and I still. can't get One Eyed Mask and QBB which is -blam!-ing absurd. There's plenty of others but those are the two I've wanted most yet after hundreds of hours wasted I still can't get the two exotics I want most. Instead, after picking up my Thunderlord, I was doing milestones and got another god -blam!-ing damn duplicate exotic. This is the least rewarding game I've ever played in my life. I can't wait for BFV to release. D2 is mingy. 💩

Im feeling that a little bit right now. I got my Ursa Furiosas a couple days after the launch of forsaken, and haven't gotten anything of use since. It frightening how you can do every powerful reward on three characters every week and still not recieve anything for the time spent.

It was almost the same in d1 vanilla buuut you had Xur. A balance needs to be struck, i didn't want to complain, i wanted that feeling of finally getting gjallahorn on a november sunday morning, think Crazymage got it right, it's gone from "YEESS" to "Finally!!, about bloody time".

I'm light level 549 and all my exotics I've gotten from exotic quest lines and the single end game exotic I got. It's just disappointing, I see people complaining about getting vanilla exotic drops or multiples of an exotic they already own. At least you people are getting exotics drops....

3 RespuestasThe drop rate for exotics is kinda odd in my experience. I can go for weeks on end without a exotic drop but when they do drop they seam to drop in threes for me... It's almost as if bungie throttle the exotics in the game then let them drop for a very limited time then hit the breaks again....
