Yes but I don’t know what point your trying to make
If its that d1 was the same then I would say that d2 had it right in the beginning. Allowing old and new gamers to flourish.
It wasn’t perfect but the fan base was very healthy and lots of new or returning players getting into it.
Bungie then went from one extreme to another trying to fix issues and in turn created more problems

D2 vanilla SUCKED. I had all the exotics for all my characters in less than one month. And so did everyone in my clan. It turned into a checklist rather than a grind. Every single milestone gave you an exotic and it was so easy to find them. Now, we have an actual grind to chase. It is RNG, yes, but it’s better then nothing.
-
And for you it was easy cause you had the time for others they didn’t. Here’s my situation I do fifo if you don’t know what that is , it means fly in fly out. I can play one week a month cause my roster is 2 weeks on 1 week off I’m luckier than most that on my week off I can put a few good hours a day into it. But some don’t have that luxury, maybe your life allows a lot more time for the game, if so good on you . Your money and a guy/girl who play 2 hrs a week is exactly the same so why can’t they have a chance to succeed in the game like you
-
A guy/girl who played two hours a day would have had all the exotics in D2 vanilla. The game would have lasted them a month and they would have moved on. And that’s exactly what happened. Now this will be a game where you can always come back to and have something to chase after or hope for. And that’s how it should be

Read what I said properly I said 2/3 hrs a week not day Not everyone can play everyday even I miss out with family or appointments you know the real world
-
Ahh, sorry. I misunderstood. If you play 2-3 hours a week that’s not enough to make it far in ANY game. This is supposed to be a game you grind out.
-
Yeah I understand that but my whole point was that in the beginning it was geared so you could Now i have said it wasn’t perfect A good mix of both grind and achievable quests for all gamers is what should’ve happened that way you can do your grinds and others can do smaller grinds and everyone can enjoy and feel like they can be part of the game and even succeed a little. Right now it’s very hard for someone with time constraints to do that
-
In the beginning it was geared towards the casual. And look what happened. D2 was a complete failure

Ok first off from your last reply it doesn’t matter how much time a person has they are entitled to play. What just because you can’t commit 6 hours a day that mean you can’t play this game D2 wasn’t a failure if anything it’s failing now . Look at these posts filled with complaints about this and that and bungie In there latest this week in bungie say “We are hearing that people want to get to know our development team” That type of ignorance and passing over all but those who can play 6 +hours a day has driven people away in droves Bop4 had mercenary mood in two weeks cause they listened to there community People are burning out on this game because a lot feel like bungie used them as a steppingstone to get to there chosen players. All this while ignoring cheaters who kick people, use aimbots, rage quitting met with a 30 minute penalty(absolutely pathetic )
