More and more this game reminds me of Animal Crossing and how it does time related content way better.

We knew the community has been asking for more time-gated quests, and here at Bungie we have been listening, so within the next dlc drop all campaign missions will now be time-gated as to not allow for quick runs through the story missions. This should give more options for the player to be able to sit back and enjoy the game. In total there will be 15 missions which will be able to be completed within a 15week period, yes yes and it’s account wide so doing it on 1 character will lock the mission until the next week.

I’m not a big fan of time gated content, it’s just lazy game design, but that said with RDR2 out waiting is not an issue, that with Diablo 3 coming to Switch on Friday means it’s a good time to be a gamer. Also found a little gem of a game call Bad North that sucks up my time like nobody’s business.

14 Respuestasyeep. my biggest D2 turn-off is time related. i would have liked to go for the Crucible weapons, but them only being available during season 4 takes the wind out of my sails. i don't mind grinding at all, but having to focus on a certain mode & ignore other content just to unlock a weapon that i might not even like isn't something i'm interested in. having quests that are only available certain days of the week is also something i'm not interested in. i doubt i'll go for the Thunderlord. i really enjoy HMG's, but i'll just play other games until Black Armory comes out and use a Legendary HMG instead concerning myself with an Exotic one.

2 RespuestasI get why bungle did it but that doesn’t mean I -blam!-in like. Their idea( stupid idea btw) is to reveal the trailer for black armory in 2 weeks and obviously that’s when we can finally get Thunderlord. It’s basically them trying to bribe us to get black armory by giving us the Thunderlord a few weeks before the update and dlc drops. I understand the reasoning, but I really don’t like it. Just feels like more bungle bullcrap.

3 RespuestasI guess people don't understand that being forced to wait pointlessly for something is vastly different than working towards it over time. That's like trying to compare this quest to that of Redrix's Broadsword or Luna's Howl.

Overall my take is that at this time this quest appears to be lacking. Key words: at this time Overall I’ve been impressed with Bungo’s quest design throughout D2. (Outbreak Prime D1 quest is the pinnacle) Let’s cut Bungo some slack and see how this pans out. If we need to get out the torches and pitchforks afterwards then so be it.
