Well, I’d have a few nickels. Point is, the only thing that can kill Destiny is Destiny itself. And despite how many times you want to say it, Destiny is not near dying currently. Forsaken, through its faults, has breathed new life into the game. You see all the whiners coming out to complain about every trivial thing they can think of? It’s because they care about the state of Destiny again. RDR2 could be an amazing game, but it certainly won’t knock Destiny out, at least not long term. Bungie plays the long game and as good as other games are, they haven’t filled the niche that Destiny has exclusively held for years. Destiny is a unique gaming experience that will be difficult for any other dev to replace. This is all just one dude’s opinion of course.
