I have 2 characters around the 550 mark and I was perfectly happy playing up until last Tuesday or Wednesday. After that I can't bring myself to put destiny 2 in my disc tray whatsoever😂🤔. I looked at the details for festival of the lost also to try bring back the spark to me but it just doesn't want to return. I think I'm actually quitting destiny without even having to try and bring myself off of it.
Edit: Wow. First time trending😁. Thanks for all the mature feedback. I was expecting comments like "delete your characters and game and stop looking for attention" or the "git gud" trolls but no. There is some really interesting feedback. Thanks for that👍

Lack of new exotics kinda bothers me. I don't mind them being rare, but one month to get 1 exotic drop. Meh
-
Nope, but I will overdose after a few hours in a day. It’s usually around the time I completed all the daily bounties for that day and realize I could be doing so much more with my life. At least until tomorrow evening, when I rinse and repeat 🙄

3 Respuestas1. RNG are terrible 2. Elites 3. Youtuber and steamers are ruined it 4. Bad reward system
-
My interest for this game has pretty much been -Bleh- from the get go. I keep trying to have faith in it because of my experience with Destiny 1 and though it's made a lot of changes for the better I just am not that into it. It seems to draw me in for maybe a month after each big change and then it's back to turning it on, getting to the load screen, and then just shutting it off. It's not even worth going after any of the special gear at this point. I'm tired of the senseless grind... I don't mind grind in general because most of the games I enjoy are grind heavy but this one doesn't seem to be worth the rewards after the grind. In fact I don't think I've played a game with less reward for grind especially when the grind is beyond boring.

Nah. Having fun

1 RespuestaI can't put my finger on it, but I am right there with you. I THINK it's the progression system, but there are a lot of things that just aren't interesting to me. Crucible is about as dumbed down as it could be, which means the whole thing just feels boring. With the TTK and weapon slot changes, 6v6, poor map design... The game took a big step back in terms of PvP play. It essentially becomes a game of "who shot first" or "who has the bigger gun". The whole thing is just bland, IMO. Gambit is a good idea with poor implementation(like most of Destiny). The whole thing needs to be a single round. Too many times people just dick around rather than banking motes OR they leave the blockers up making a mote carrier vulnerable. This mainly applies to solo players as there is no way to coordinate mote collection vs blocker removal vs invasion. Random team roles that are set prior to each round(if the multi round setup remains), would make the whole thing a LOT better. Two players are mote collection and two players are DPS/Invaders, swaps out each round. Bounties are cool, but there is no real direction. It would be nice if these things worked in conjunction with one another. Instead of just being a bunch of random tasks. And one thing that is just stupid to me is how irrelevant old content becomes with each release. Escalation Protocol should have been updated with Forsake. As should have the planetary vendors. Leaving all that shit in year one just means that a lot of loot we get is obsolete and the whole collection thing means next to nothing.

Lol, I lost interest last year, have not played D2 sense. D1 is so much better!

2 RespuestasI see friends and clan list active players decreasing, also noticed polarization of hardcore players now at 590+ and more casual at ~550. Some basic problems are high level of raid, with too much grind just to start and limited drops of new exotics. It seems clear Bungie tried to prolong playtime by making more of a grind necessary, but has the opposite effect for many players. Getting +1 'powerful gear' is a bad joke.
-
Haha lost interest 2nd week of release.
-
I hit a point where I want to be interested in this game but I'm just not. I really want to do the raid, dungeon, and get more exotics but for whatever reason, I've just lost interest. So, I really do understand where you're coming from.
-
Franchise fatigue probably. I know how that’s why I’m getting a little fed up.
-
1 RespuestaI just don’t care for the powerful gear system, I find myself not caring to do it because I’d rather be in gambit or crucible than wasting my game time in mindless activities like strikes, flashpoints, dreaming city etc... RN-Jesus hasn’t answered any prayers in a long time either Content from this DLC is legit I just don’t like the systems in play
-
Nope. Didn’t lose interest, it’s actually the opposite. I think what will help some ppl is to try doing something other than burning yourselves out on this game.

32 RespuestasI think you need to do two things. 1. Accept that with an RNG loot system you can't FORCE the game to give you something....and the more you focus on the game trying to give you something very specific, the more you set yourself up for frustration, disappointment, and burnout. 2. Play everything. With the return of Random Rolls, all bets are off. Some people define "God Roll" too narrowly...and wind up overlooking some very powerful weapons that come into their hands...because the are so tunnel-visioned on the specific rolls they want. I reset my Gambit rank last night, and go a curated (fixed roll), Masterworked Truth. It came with Small bore, Light Mag, Genesis, and Explosive payload. ...and the thing is an absolute beast. Smallbore and Light mag gives the thing the range of a scout rifle. Genesis causes the weapon to reload if you break a shield....with generated ammo if you break a Solar shield..... ...and Explosive Payload lets the weapon hit like a high-impact HC...but with the fire rate of 180 rpm HC. This is a combination of perks that I never would have considered a "God Roll" in the abstract. But when I took it into the Blind Well, I quickly realized that it was like running bots through a chipper-shredder it made such shortwork of them....and at SR range no less. Consider not getting so mad and frustrated about what you believe the game **should** be giving you...and make sure that you aren't missing really good things that the game actually IS giving you.

For me, I'm just fed up with the matchmaking in Crucible and Gambit as a solo queue as it's been terrible the past 2 weeks or so, making each round a total coin flip. I am not complaining about going up against stacks, as a solo queuer you need to accept that's going to happen and I have stomped plenty of stacks in my day. But the quality of the match making is turning crucible and gambit matches into total coin flips as you're either getting stomped or doing the stomping with close matches few and far between. This has been talked about ad nauseam here, but my main point is that the poor match making is almost completely removing my skill from the equation and thus making me ask my self: "what's the point? why do I even bother" If I can't feel like I can affect the outcome of a match, why even play the game?
-
Feel the same way!
-
No. I lost interest a long time ago 😅
-
everyone hits the wall on destiny progression, totally normal thats why destiny, every new release and xpac, has a HUGE population drop off after 1-2 months
-
2 RespuestasIt’s winding thin at this point. Probably gonna still try to get the Luna’s howl and that’s about it at this point till black armory
-
With what they did to yr2 exotics drop rate YES and if xur wrong sell them I don't care to log in
-
It's just being burned out. The game caught my attention for over a month which games don't do anymore. I played BO4 and am bored with it already. I hope Red Dead 2 can keep my attention as long as Forsaken has.
-
Yeah I got my new rifle the other day. Been having so much fun with it. I put 500 rounds through it and not a single jam or problem.
-
Yep..... The poor loot, duplicates and pvp have pushed me away.
-
Yep, but that's because this week is pretty uneventful and next week is when all the good stuff pops up (Festival, Curse level 3 (and everything that comes with it), and Ikelos shotgun week (no, I don't have it)
-
2 RespuestasI stopped playing in January. Started playing again two weeks ago. Really enjoying it now. The break was good! I have soooo much to keep me busy in the game now.
-
I got that exact same feeling
