What if at the end of festival of the lost we investigate the murder of another member of the Shadows of Yor, we know there are more out there, and with the drifter's return and come out of hiding this could have sparked another to come out of hiding. This could also be the setup for Joker's Wild, where Drifter may even be killing Shin after he has killed so many of these guardians. Let's be real here, Shin malfur is just as bad as the Shadows, he killed their leader, then hunts them down relentlessly, whats the point, its just pointless vengeance. I Also think that the Drifter is taking a page out of Savathun's book and is using the gambit as a battery, motes are called motes of darkness, yet they are white, the lore describes the void as a perfect balance, maybe the drifter is a guardian that uses void subclass and by mixing the light, from the motes and the taken energy he is actually accumulating void energy that he will use to annihilate shin malfur

I love the Drifter, I'd gladly help him if he was ever in a jam... But if I have to pick between him and Shin? I would be helping Shin put a flaming bullet in that guys head faster then you can say Rasputin shot the Traveler

Oh yeah, its not like the Shadows are a direct threat to the City and are more than capable of permanently killing Guardians, Shin's just over reacting about people taking up the name of the most dangerous one-man scourge this system has seen. Shin is just as bad as them... Oh wait, except none of that's true Callum was a piece of shit and I hope all the Shadows end up on a wall like him

Seeing as how we see Master Ives in the shrine of the Lost, we’ll most likely be investigating his murder

1 RespuestaIt’ll probably just be a D1 vendor or a random unnamed NPC. Nothing to important.

If I had to chose between Shin and the Drifter, I'd go with the Drifter, for while I admire Shin, the Drifter is someone so sketchy I can trust him, meanwhile Shin could very well be at the point of just a raging bloodthurst for vengeance, even if it's justified I can't trust those blinded by rage.
plus if I kill Shin I officially become the best hunter ever mean while if I kill the Drifter, I get my victory stolen by Shin or some shit and the Vanguard would not give two shits because that's exactly what they expect me to do
2 RespuestasLiterally nobody wants Shin to be a villian
