There are 4 tiers of powerful rewards in Destiny 2 now.
Tier 1 is all daily challenges, Flashpoint, Weekly stuff like Crucible, Gambit, Strikes, Heroic Missions, Hawthorne & Ikora.
^^^^ All of these will drop +5 powerful rewards till you hit 520 light, then after it'll be 1-3+ from your OVERALL light. For ex: My light is 530, my helmet is 533, I just completed Ikora weekly, but the reward system just handed me a 532. Its consider a powerful drop but not what I needed.
Tier 2 is Nightfall and the weekly bounty from Spider until you hit 540. Once your beyond 540 Tier 2 will become Tier 1.
Tier 3 is Petra rewards, Blind well Heroic until 560 light. Same as before, once you hit 560 all of these rewards will only give you 1-3 above your overall light.
Edit- The first 2 Encounters in the Last wish
Tier 4 are the stuff that boost you greatly to 600
Prime Engrams are your best friend, The Dungeon( only appears on week 3), tier 4 Blind well(Heroic), & the Last wish(Encounters 3-Riven Heart.
I have a friend who is in the 520s but only plays a couple hrs a week, he don't have time to do all the powerful rewards, I suggest he do only Petra weekly stuff since it can be knocked out in about 1hr and gives him a big boost in light. He & I both know he might not hit 600 by the end of this season, but that's what I recommend.
Another ex: say all your gear is 540ish, I recommend go straight into Petra stuff and the raid to get a big boost in rewards, then do all your Tier 1 stuff so your other gear can catch up.
I hope this helps.

3 RespuestasNot accurate. I'm above 570 and ALL Dreaming City powerful rewards have been +5 for me, week after week.
-
1 RespuestaYou forgot to mention valor resets. It drops powerful gear. I’m talking resets not ranking up.
-
worst system destiny ever had, even vanilla forever 29 system was much better than this crap

4 RespuestasAnybody know what tier quest exotics are in? (Example Ace of Spades, Chaperone..)

Editado por MindfulPizza: 10/8/2018 11:45:04 AMyea do not listen once get for weekly 5 same leg pieces will understand for that week . that same light level. since did not get prime engram before then. do not store highest light level , and pray to rng juese that not same stuff or get enough prime engram so not same light. there only blind well herioc reward and exotic reward and raid reward high enough and gambit reset and curcible reset 5 lv higher . plus create other charcters and get them through story and balance it that way fastest . way each week highest guns and armor on one do it , then rotate to next character.

Thanks,that is helpfull

Pray. That’s it.

5 RespuestasDoes anyone else have issues with that poxy oracle bounty from the dreaming city? 3 times out of the last 4 I've handed it in and got nothing. It hasn't even counted towards my weekly dreaming city bounties.

2 RespuestasStill doesn’t mean it is a good or smart system. The system is designed to drag out progression and bottleneck players. The entire loot/progression system of 2 feels like it is designed to make people slow down because the developers couldn’t create enough content. There was nothing wrong with the D1 Y3 loot system. It removed the potential problem of duplicate drops or acquiring the item you need and last I remember most of the community was satisfied with how it was designed. I mean, I know it wasn’t the HC “I play this game 24 hrs a day, it’s not fair that you got that item easily while I’m stuck using RNG in this area that I’ve been trying to clear for 4 hrs”, but it was satisfying for he community and player base as a whole, which is more important that satisfying the needs of the 10%. Bungie saw last year how catering to the 10% can -blam!- up profits, guess they want to see if that was a fluke or if it can happen again.
-
I’m not confused on how it works, I’m confused why Bungie thought to separate into tiers yet name it the same thing across the board. Oh yeah, they didn’t even tell us this shit either, it’s not like once you hit the cap for that reward it turns into a legendary reward, it stays “powerful”.

21 RespuestasThank you for the informations! imho everything is too complicated for normal casual players who play only 1-2 hours a day, even for me, spending 4-6 hours a day. Why i have to read/watch manuals to find the ascendent bounty and the other things from spider and Petra??? Why is there only ONE raid which is so complicated to fulfill for a normal player? If i imagine that this raid is double complicated than circus in leviathan raid, i won't play it. There is a pve player loss of 1 million (=35%) in the last 2 or 3 weeks! Why? Because the endgame gets too complicated and the progress speed is too slow for a normal player, not for Youtubers and streamer. But Youtubers don't pay for the game, they get it as a gift.

4 RespuestasProof as to why this game has lost my interest again. Too much grind, not enough game.
-
4 RespuestasI think the majority players understand the system. It's just not a satisfying system. They would just prefer at least a +1 or +2 on a slot anytime they hand in a powerful reward. It's not going to eliminate the "grind" that is important to the "investment team", but it will remove a lot of ill will associated with getting 4 helmets in a row that drop lower than your existing helmet.

Editado por CatMagic7415: 10/7/2018 9:55:46 AMThe lvling sysyem sucks and is to complicated atm,Bungie need to fix this shitty system and make it fun and easier to lvl up,feels to much as a grind as it is now

21 RespuestasEditado por DeathPony07: 10/6/2018 3:46:16 PM
There are 4 tiers of powerful rewards in Destiny 2 now.
That is stupid. All powerful rewards should be the same. Throttling our progression is bullshit. There are already people that have 3 level 600 characters. Neckbeards are going to race to max light no matter what, so there's no need to throttle progression for everyone else, and limit it to a few activities per week.
-
2 RespuestasAm I the only one who isn’t really bothered by the way this system works? I can’t really understand why people would be so upset by this, the endgame content is always gonna be there lol
-
2 RespuestasI give up 2 many elite asshats when trying 2 play a raid y'all can have Destiny
-
1 Respuestaoh yeah and -blam!- you elitist jaskasses
-
P sure dreaming city stuff gives +5 till 580
-
Thanks, but it’s not confusing it’s just not rewarding, imho
-
1 Respuestastill nerfed progresion. read what is ppl posting before call em ignorants or noobs. we all know how to lvl up, the prob is the shitty rewards. nf is droping the same power or lower like most of activities, only the boringass raid help you.

6 RespuestasPeople can put up these lists all day long and but at some point random luck still comes in to play and people can still get screwed by it and have a hard time leveling up. Example: You can be at 550 light. If you have a 557 Power weapon and a 545 Helmet. It doesn't matter what you play first (Petra, raid, etc) if the RNG gods decide to give you another power weapon again, you're not going anywhere. You could get another 557 Edge Transit. Hey, it is +7 above your current light level but it's not helping you progress. And I get the meaning of random. But I'm just trying to defend the people who have a hard time progressing up, even when they do the events in the 'right' order. So to me, some level of luck still comes in to play. There are probably people out there that get the items they need in the correct order to level up quickly, but that also means some will not.
-
19 RespuestasIt’s basically Bungie saying “hey screw playing how you want play how we want you to play”
-
2 RespuestasI'd say the easiest way to level up would be to wait til the next iron banner. The gear will probably come out at 580 or 600. The grind is ridiculous for a casual.
-
5 RespuestasBring back D1 system. Problem solved
-
there is no confusion the damn leveling system is -blam!-ing garbage . plus the leveling system does not mean a damn thing . 1 - 20 is pointless but 20 to 50 is so damn stupid its not even funny .
