The legendary cutscene when you beat the Maw was so beautiful and if you look closely, right before the explosion, Sgt. Johnson jumps off the ring all the way to Earth so that’s how he survives. Also the throwback line like Cortana saying there’s two of us in here now or “were it so easy” are among the best.

I kinda teared up remembering those.

Yea especially how it’s a throwback from the second last level of Halo there allllll the way back to level one in Halo one. And they way she says it sort of nostalgicly in halo three when you save here makes the moment even more special.
