The changes to the Mercury flashpoint have taken it from just barely worth doing, to totally not worth the time, for your amazing +1 upgrade you can choose from:
One public event that spawns once in a blue moon for 25% if you get the heroic.
One lost sector for 10% per run
Three heroic adventures for 20%
The roaming yellow bar enemies still spawn during the flashpoint but killing them gives you nothing towards your completion, patrol missions also contribute nothing. So Mercury has a significantly poorer selection of activities when compared to other flashpoints and takes far longer to complete for the same reward, and to top it all off you still can't use your sparrow to get around for some inexplicable reason. I have to applaud Bungie, they've taken the worst area in the game and somehow made it even worse.

Mercury is SO BORING!! No sparrow, 1 zone, 1 public event. Takes forever to finish.
-
shit map from a really shitty dlc
-
Hot garbage that makes a dumpster fire
-
The best thing about mercury is when brother vance sticks his hand out to grope me. Im calling the FBI for an investigation. This blind a**hole has to be stopped.
-
1 RespuestaMercury is the most boring map period.
-
Boring map for a bad release. Its a flashpoint because they want people to play in the mud puddle. Maybe someday they'll change it up and make it a bit more exciting ;)
-
It's Mercury. Nearly everything involving Infinite Forest is boring. Ignore it and maybe Bungie will remove it from the cycle
-
Public event, lost sector, rinse and repeat.
-
1 Respuestado the heroic adventure, then keep doing the lost sector until you're done
-
Heroic adventure gave me 50% today.
-
Hey, they had to make it useful somehow lol.
-
Yep cant be bothered doing it this week I for one will giving it a big miss not worth the effort.
-
Accidentally discovered that killing the boss in the treasure chest mini PE does contribute to flashpoint. I completed my milestone when that boss fell.
-
Your not getting any thing good from doing it anyway so just skip it. I skip 99% of the Mercury Strikes/Missions/Adventures. The CoO DLC was a failed experiment.
-
1 Respuesta"The flashpoint is hot garbage." I took out the word 'Mercury' from you title to make this post more accurate.
-
2 RespuestasHeroic adventure gives 50% 😐 just do 1 a day for 2 days...
-
3 Respuestasfirst off you are LYING. I did a heroic public event and the heroic adventure and i was at 65% so your math is WAAAAAAY off there kemosabe. You can speed run the lost sector and run past everything, kill the boss and open the chest all in about 1 to 2 minutes flat also btw and walk to entrance walk back in and repeat. in under 10 minutes you can run 4 lost sector runs for 40% no problem worst case dont wait for pub event just run heroic adventure and spend about 15 minutes running in and out of the lost sector and you are done. WHY are you complaining? this is literally the quickest location to finish the flashpoint on.
-
Agreed. I'm not wasting my time. I can live without my flashpoint engram this week.
-
I did the heroic mission and killed the portal yellow bars one time and got 55%.
-
agree that flashpoints need more things to feed into the completion flashpoints are way too much time for such a minimal slot machine reward
-
The least interesting planet in the game with the least amount of things to do in it.

I don't care about how long it took or how off your math is. It was very boring. Yuck planet.
-
I agree, but it does serve an important function: it’s a hell of a reminder of the depths in which Bungie can sink. If you ever feel inclined to preorder D3, just head to Mercury and take time to reflect on your time there during CoO.

The adventures and missions for Mercury are some of the most boring and repetitive in the game. If not THE most boring and repetitive. Unlock a gate, kill some enemies, unlock a gate, kill some enemies, unlock a gate, kill some enemies, run through.....ugh. It's awful.
-
I wish you got a little credit for every Yellow bar enemy slain. Even if its just 2%. And there is still no Sparrow access... this needs fixed as well.
