If you compare everything hunters have, compared to everything titans and warlocks have, it is very obvious that warlocks and titans obviously have it better when it comes to, we’ll, everything.
For this I’ll be going over everything hunter has, but only the things you see most and see people complain about in PVP for Warlocks and titans, because let’s face it, when’s the last time you saw Burning Maul or New Sentinel in pvp
Let’s look at supers first
Hunters have some good supers, if you ignore the fact that you can be shot out of all of them besides Blade Barrage. You can sniper a golden gun instantly without needing the heavy sniper archetype, Tether doesn’t proc in time to actually stop anything, arc staff can easily be ran away from and shot out, and spectral blades
sigh
We don’t talk about spectral blades. These things are so laughably bad that I don’t see anyone using this class outside of trying to relive the glory days of Blade Dancer. The only thing Way of the Wraith has going for it is the nerfed wombo combo that requires some thought to be utilized correctly. It’s two other perks in the tree are completely useless in PvP, and the super is horrible. It’s too slow, not enough lunge, no aim assist, and whiffs like crazy, Literally the time of writing this I’m using the class for the crucible bounty, and I smacked someone with the blades twice, both got a hit sound, I saw them connect, and not one kill was given, these things just don’t work.
Now the neutral game, hunters have decent nades , none of them are too stellar though, and the melees could be way better. Throwing knife headshots need to headshot. How come the only skill projectile in the game doesn’t one shot, but titans, who already have the best mainline mobility in the game, get an aim assisted high lunge one shot kill, and get to use it very often. Throwing knives are joke, and Way of the Wraith has the only good smoke made as it’s the only one that actually does damage. Arcstrider has good melees, but only really when you pair it with shotguns where melees are a good follow up. Trip mines are horrible, the glow, they don’t do enough damage, and worst of all, they can be ran through so the low damage they deal doesn’t even matter.
Now let’s go into all the bullshit Titans and Warlocks have shall we.
Nova Warp is by far the best PvP super In the game, a roaming super, with a teleport, ranged one shots, super armor, and a speed boost, leave it almost unstoppable to anything, no rocket or shotgun stands a chance at this. This is the only super I’m truly afraid of. Not only does this tree of Voidwalker have a good super, it also possesses a one shot grenade, and a very good melee, making this class in my opinion, the best PvP class in the game.
All warlock supers are very good, besides Well of Radiance but who really uses that class for PvP? Saw blade can soar at high speeds through the air making it very hard to hit, with one shots that I admit do take skill to land. Nova Bomb and Chaos reach are very good shutdown supers, and Stormcaller is a good roaming super with decent range.
Titans have the all around best neutral game in my opinion. They have very good grenades, and pulse grenades can can get two free ticks before you can leave its radius, unless you jump out of it before it even lands. And unlike D1, every subclass has shoulder charge, which means every class gets its no skill one shot/mobility tool. You mostly see all the old subclasses in PVP, not a lot of Thundercrashes, New Shields (I don’t even know the name of it), or burning mauls, mostly because the older ones are just better, and that burning maul is garbage. Strikers can run around with a fast lunging shoulder charge, or a big radius slam that can knock out a ton of enemies, all with super armor, Sentinel, which is one of my favorite supers because of how versatile it is, can block bullets, smack people up close, and has a fast projectile that ricochets, all with super armor. Hammers has a bunch of projectiles that aren’t that hard to hit as they hail aim assist, track, and have an auto detonating radius.
If this hasn’t changed your mind about anything, which is probably hasn’t, because let’s be honest you only read this because “edgy hunter main gets mad and cries”, let me leave you with this.
when is the last time you died to a hunter ability and thought that it was over powered?
Edit: people play hunters because they look cool. There’s not really another reason other than I don’t like being mindless and hitting buttons to get kills, hunter takes a bit of brain
Edit 2:If you think I’m dumb we got a guy down here complaining about hunter but thinks One Eyed Mask isn’t worth an exotic slot LMAO

The way of the wraith is sweet. I love the invis, and if you shatter a boss before super, then it doesnt matter if you whiff a few times, youll drop him with the few hits that do connect. And seeing through walls is a huge bonus. As for the rest of the class, and hunters as a whole... the only melee that can kill in one shot take a sprint, slide, aim, then melee, its unusable when a titan just tosses a hammer through your dome without moving...or a warlok drops a cluster, the hunter used to be a close range nightmare. Now it basically is a sitting duck. The grenades need revamping too, voidwall is Ok but titans and warloks have those options but use their better, more deadly ones instead. I would like a seeker grenade that is a single tracking nade. Or maybe a void incendiary, just for looks idk it feels like the hunter has just shitty versions of other classes grenades and absolutely no usable melee, even the smoke is UP. I never olay anything but hunter, and in d1, i was pure arcstrider, even in d2, until the headshot invis, i get about 50 percent headshots in strikes when in using the right weapons, so, thats my thing, but where is the heals?!?! D1 had an invis healing combo that you could roll stab through endless mobs until they were all dead and you had full shield and were unvis at the end. Idk man, feels like bungie like griefing the intelliigent players.

2 RespuestasYour just a bad hunter .

1 RespuestaI like the effort you’ve put in here, but it’s a no from me
-
5 RespuestasBlade barrage is the most broken ability in the game it kill anything in sight.
-
4 RespuestasHahahahahhahahaha. Oh wait you’re serious. You might need some better arguments then
-
2 RespuestasLmao. Hell no. 99.998% of crucible players are those effeminate Hunters.
-
Uh no we already have people spamming arcstrider and blade barrage
-
2 RespuestasNo hunters are the most overpowered class
-
2 RespuestasYou need to be banned from the forums, for thinking hunters need more buffs.

2 RespuestasEditado por StormiDutch: 10/1/2018 10:10:38 PMNo. Blade barrage is the most stupidly broken shit ever. Golden gun is strong AF. Their grenades are pretty good. Their jumps are the best for dodging shots while warlock are just floating bricks while gliding. Besides dawnblade/well of radiance the warlock supers for pve are garbage, chaos reach takes 10 seconds to fully use and still does a lot less dmg than blade barrage, same applies to any of the nova bombs. As far as hammer tracking goes you couldn’t be more wrong, it barely has any, unlike bottom tree dawnblade. There is a reason that hunter is still the most used pvp class.

15 RespuestasNo we don’t. PvP: Best melee super in the game (arcstrider) Best ranged super in the game (6 shot golden gun) PvE: Best support super (tether) Best quick boss DPS super (blade barrage) Plus you have perks like playing with fire etc which can make for some super fun gameplay when you can chain the 3x (especially if brawler is on, at that point it’s unlimited melee).
-
Lol nope

11 RespuestasWow if hunters were bad why is every 4 stack in competitive hunters? Why every random in quickplay hunters? Ha if anything they need NERFS!!!
-
I have no problem with the hunters current state but I do have a problem with the titans shoulder charge, no so much that it's a one shot, more that people abuse the living sh!t out of it, this gets me pissed off because I can double jump up and it still hit my I can dodge and it still hits me, I'm not saying nerf it but just stop abusing it
-
2 RespuestasExcuse me, but did you just say that tickle fingers was a good warlock super Landfall doesn't even 1 shot.
-
1 RespuestaHunters are actually really good right now, but only if you are playing knifeslinger. Otherwise your strategy consists of 1. Open inventory 2. Put on knifeslinger 3. Profit Being able to have variety would be fun bungie

Dude, Spectral Blades is absolutely lethal compared to Tether. Tether is the one hunter ability that I think 100 percent needs a buff. Spectral Blades is a good super. As TrueVanguard said, the reason people don't do well with it is that they think it's Blade Dancer. You have to stalk with it, and carefully. I see people get double, triple and quad feeds with it regularly. Tether, however, is actual garbage. Worst PvP super in the game, bar none.

5 RespuestasYour class died with your mentor

Blade barrage with shards of galanor... pvp and pve goodness... nuff said.

Editado por Saintly: 10/1/2018 7:42:51 PMThey're fine.

Certain subclasses such as tether could use a buff in pvp at least. And the spectral blades thing where you get the sound and you see the hit connect, also used to, and still happens with sentinel and burning maul. Hammers don't track, but the warlock's swords do if you use that tree. Arcstrider, especially the new one is actually a super good pvp super, if not the best. It's actually very difficult to run away from it if the person using it knows how to, it has a slam, a ranged attack, and one-shots any non-super guardian. All the classes have a certain level of skill gap and the hunter probably has a larger skill gap than the titan shoulder charge subclasses. I'm a titan main and I rarely every use shoulder charge, I personally don't think it should one shot. But, about buffing hunters in general, I don't think that should happen. There was a reason arcstrider hunters with wormhusk were the only thing you would go against in trials. A lot of better players will typically use the hunter for the dodge, and great pvp supers. I personally think Warlocks need a buff more than hunters do, their jump sucks pretty badly compared to the rest and nova bomb isn't even half as good as blade barrage. But, that's just my opinion.

1 RespuestaWhy are there so many whining Hunters lately? It's like the sandbox is balanced or something and they're not happy about it. Hit detection issues need addressed across the board, yes. And Tempest Strike shouldn't be used up when it misses. Beyond that there's no real weight to any other argument.
-
I love how hostile Hunter mains have always been.
-
-
as a hunter main im gonna say that hunters are still the best PvP class and they got even better with Blade Barrage
-
4 RespuestasNothing wrong with hunters they are amazing. Blade barrage is the new nova bomb. Crazy damage. Shuts down everything.
