Sup people. Ill get straight to the point. Shotguns are way too good and too easy to use, which makes crucible pretty boring when 99% of all people are running around with shotguns. Most shotgun users just run at you, knowing good and well they will get the kill. See, this was a problem already in Destiny 1, and in D1 you had alot more stuff that could counter shotguns (The Last Word, waaaay shorter grenade cooldowns etc) Also gets pretty unfair agaist the other special ammo weapons like Sniper rifles and Fusion rifles, since if you are using a Fusion you have to charge it up, which makes a sound and gives a time q for your opponent so he/she knows when to act/stand down. Also when using a sniper rifle you have a specific small point that you have to hit (the head) to get a one-shot kill, miss the head and u barely damage half their health/miss completely. All while the opponent is shooting at you and is making your aim knock-back like crazy. Shotguns on the other hand, will most of the time kill you in one shot, doesnt matter if they hit you in the head, toe or stomach. Now I know that snipers long range weapons, but you get into equally many short as long range battles. This makes shotguns pretty much the only viable special ammo weapons, since it gives special ammo so much more value that other special ammo weapons, which is pretty stupid. They were already op in D1 with more counters, and this time we basically dont have any counters at all.
