Competitive is sickening & matchmaking is garbage.

3 RespuestasI think matchmaking is fine. If I choose to run solo and I get paired up with a stack, fine. Sometimes I crush a stack as solo, sometime I get sweeped. That's fine. I take my L and move to the next match. I think the most glaring issues have to be 1) I lose the same amount of points that I win. I personally think that is a flaw (but I know that is very debateable) and 2) I should NOT be penalized for the actions of OTHER players or for Bungies SHIT SERVERS. If someone on my team rage quits, my team and I should not lose any points. If I'm DDoSed or otherwise booted from the game due to Bungies poor servers, I should NOT RECIEVE A LOSS. It baffles me that no one else sees this.

Was on console got to 1900 then back down to 1400 i just deleted my players and play on pc not worried about lunas anymore not worth it

44 RespuestasMatchmaking is unfair in comp for solo players, I played comp solo on my alt I was around 1200 glory points. I got two teammates who both had 0 glory points and it was this level 34s FIRST CRUCIBLE GAME EVER (I checked from dtr) and he went 0 kills 16 deaths in survival and my other teammate went 4 kills 17 deaths We were all randoms against a 4-man team, how is this balanced? How is this matchmaking so unbalanced towards solo players?

My problem with Competitive is everybody is so sweaty. It forces "If you can't beat em, join em" attitude. Not using a certain power, energy, kinetic combo and get destroyed because "Hey, everybody else is doing it." Too sweaty and a pair of hand cannons is not enough to make me play one more round this garbage. It is like every mode though. Once the "Youtubers" post something, everybody does it. This is why you only see Sleeper and Worm in Gambit and so on. Also, if Bungie knew how to properly balance their weapons, all weapons should be viable and not just a very very small fraction of weapons. I am in a pretty large clan, we are a full clan and I would say everyday there is anywhere from 30 to 40 active players and then the ones that just want the weekly rewards and never have any interaction with the clan. However, an even smaller percentage is good enough to play competitive. I understand it is the best of the best, but solo players are punished as you are always against a team of 3 or 4. There needs to be a solo que and team que.

there is barely anyone in competitive they need solo players to pad the numbers if they separate solo's from the teams, the problem will become grossly apparent

5 RespuestasCorrect on both accounts. Very easy simple solution for one problem though is just don't do competitive. There really is zero reason to do it. Only incentive to do it I can see is for some clan bounties and a few quests for guns that really are only for bragging rights and to show off because they are pretty even with 20 other guns. As for matchmaking we are all screwed because Bungie won't ever fix it because they are lazy, incompetent, cheap and simply don't care.
