No - this isn't a troll post, I just think this game mode is super fun!
Invading, and getting invaded, makes the game super tense! This makes the game exciting for me in a way crucible isn't, maybe because so much more is at stake when you get killed with a backpack full of motes.
Anyways - good job Bungie!
And yes - solo versus team will always be unbalanced, but learn the game and you can still win!

6 RespuestasIt should not have level advantage enabled for invasions. A low level invading a bunch of higher levels has no shot. And a high level has advantage when invading.
-
Not gonna lie- nothing has truly upset me in Destiny since launch more than getting killed with 15 motes by someone with sleeper. Truly- the definition of rage inducing. But yet- it is FUN. Ah sue me.
-
4 RespuestasIt’s a pain in the ass now, what with all these thirsty meatball hunter teams wrecking us every match.
-
6 RespuestasProbably the worst mode ever created by Bungie, it's suppose to be PVE/PVP, it's actually PVP/PVP.
-
8 RespuestasYea what a fun game mode! A game mode where teams throw games because they stand next to the portal and never move or they straight up kill adds and don’t collect motes because they just want to invade. Wow what a cool game mode.

Editado por UGL13RTH4NU: 9/27/2018 4:20:00 PMI like it too. But I hate getting bad teammates (I suppose like any other mode). Teammates that go past you without reviving suck. I suppose I can try and not die to solve this issue - but so far I haven't pulled that off. I hate teammates that don't head to the next kill zone. I always go in Leroy Jenkins style. That works okay when other teammates go in too. Not so much when you're by your lonesome for what seems like minutes. Conversely, I hate having 15 motes, trying to bank with a couple taken ogres and phalanxes, and NO ONE to help bring them down. Inevitably I get them all nearly down by myself and BANG, an invader comes in, not a single teammate can kill him, and I lose my 15. Finally, I hate the guys who ignore the drifter. Drifter says, "you've got enough to call up a Primevil (sp?) and the morons refuse to come in and bank their motes (or even better, go invading with all their motes after this callout).

Oh sweet an actual non shit post with an accurate title. Bumped my man.

Until the sleeper is locked out gambit is trash. Bet you run sleeper scrub.
-
10 RespuestasEnjoyable, yes. Would be better if Sleeper Simulant wasn’t rampantly abused.
-
Agree except that it’s borderline unplayable for solo players, and the malf quest line making it worse, and the still completely overpowered sleeper being required for the average player to run. I do like the game mode in general though.
-
6 RespuestasGambit is perfectly balanced in my opinion. Love seeing people whine about sleeper... it’s a slow charge-shot. Get good or get your own sleeper and stop complaining about it haha
-
I think its awesome but I hate the stupid rubber band mechanic
-
3 RespuestasI feel it gets boring fast once I’m max light I’ll probably not play it
-
I'm sure match making is rigged in gambit. I checked the stats of a round 20 players in my clan today and we all had a win ratio of between 40 and 43%.
-
It's...ok.
-
If sleeper shots were permanent, I'd have an essay on me in braille

1 RespuestaI think it’s very fun too! It’s a very refreshing game type in Destiny’s history. While it has many problems, it’s more or less with the communities choices. They say “nerf sleeper!” after they use it since it’s most effective. And yes the stacked teams are an issue. But in terms of how good it is to just play gambit, it’s something I try to keep coming back to. Hell, I would actually like more extensions to gambit. For example, instead of just banking motes, you have to defend the bank against waves of enemies, and with every 25 points you get for defending the bank you can invade. At the end of every wave there will be a boss you gotta kill. Five waves, five bosses. But hey, that’s just me
-
Yep. Also I find if you get at least one decent teammate you can pull off wins quite well. I use Arcstrider + Raider Flux, which melts the primeval, Sleeper for countering invaders and taking out the Primeval Envoys, and then a good hand cannon and autorifle for the ads. Completed a 5 win streak last night with a few pretty darn close calls (played 4 matches, I had one win that carried over from my last session), and got the quest for the Malfeasance so once I get my light level up I can grind that out. Overall pretty fun gamemode unless your entire team is completely inept.
-
Totally agree. Bungee could’ve just jumped on the battle royals bandwagon but they came up with something imaginative! I just wish people knew how to play it 😆
-
Gambit for the first time gets the heart pounding in a game mode. It is excellent
-
Luke smith? Is that you?
-
3 RespuestasGood till you get mapped by sleeper
-
Coolest x man ever.
-
Me, too! I'm having fun whether I'm with my clan or playing with randoms.
-
Gambit is amazing..... when you load in with a full team and no one leaves even when you do have one. And your team isn’t matchmade terribly and

3 RespuestasI think you're not right in head if you think its good lol.
