Are you communicating with teammates? If not, then there’s zero chance they can read your mind and know what your strategy is.
In fact, your strategy is counter to all of the other posts on this topic. A vast majority think people who aren’t capping constantly are stupid.
So, put your headset on and talk to your team.

Nope. There are several viable strategies. This is not the only one. Beyond that, it’s super vague. “JUST DEFEND, GOSH” That’s dumbest shit I’ve ever heard. Defend what? Which point? On some maps capping A and C is the best tactic, on others you need to cap B and defend it. For all you know OP is defending the worst zones and his teammates hate him for being “incompetent.” You play a mode that requires strategy and you don’t communicate, YOU are the issue.

With the modified iron banner control you need to defend. It can be frustrating to see someone spawn just to see them running off while their spawn point is being taken. By now ppl should have a somewhat clear basic strategy on how to win a control game, but some still play it like it’s clash and don’t understand what’s happening. You don’t need communication to do basic defend and capture.

So it’s a coincidence that organized teams have a massive advantage over solo queue players? Sorry, not buying it. The fact is that people are just pissed off and assume that they’re playing correctly. This is just plain stupid. Let’s say you and OP have played together and you both walk away thinking, “man, I’m tired of having incompetent teammates.” Which one of you is the incompetent turd? My answer is that neither of you are incompetent, you were just executing different strategies and weren’t communicating. To walk away thinking that your way is right and everyone else is stupid makes you a turd, though. No doubt about that.

It’s more than that. I’ve have watched randoms with my friends do things that won’t help anyone win. The problem here is that ppl are selfish or just extremely bad at control and won’t try at all. I’ve been in a team of randoms and beat a group of six. It’s not difficult to understand what you team is doing and adapt. When you see someone dying constantly trying to go for one point is someone who doesn’t have common sense, and anyone can have “their” strategy that they think works but if you’re dying constantly. Please change your 💩 up and help the team out.

Control is a mode that has been in so many games. No one showed me how to play any of those modes I figured it out and most of those maps you can look at and tell which flags are the best to capture. I don't communicate with any players in banner or quickplay outside of clanmates and have no problem winning games. Yeah I might lose some but that comes with the territory. Maybe you had those issues, but even if you are unsure go on youtube plenty of youtubers who give advice through videos instead of joining games and making it a bad experience for others.
