Way of a thousand cuts + young ahamkaras spine + gamblers dodge. Nonstop ability spam.
I was running escalation protocol with a clan mate and as long as I managed to hit with my melee regularly I found it quite simple to spam all 3 of my abilities quite well. Throw a grenade and get roughly 1/3 grenade energy back, hit with knife trick get another third of my grenade energy back, dodge, throw another knife trick, have grenade full, and hopefully have 3 stacks of play with fire. Even if I don't have 3 stacks, I'll always try to shoot the burning opponents to get my dodge back fast enough to constantly be throwing knives. Couple that with skills where melee kills restore more grenade or super energy, and the hunter becomes an ability spamming machine.
I understand that escalation protocol is but 1 part of the endgame experience, but I believe this would work well in gambit also. Or pve in general. As long as you're able to keep hitting with your abilities, you can use them pretty consistently.

Tripmine with YAS (did not realize that was the abbreviation for Ahamkhara's Spine, that is hilarious) actually makes Trips good for regular ad clear even without Thousand Cuts! If you kill enough enemies with it, it'll instantly recharge or come very close (I think it was 3-4 for a full charge)

Been my Armour/subclass load out since forsaken dropped. LOVE it. skill rewards plentiful abilities. its great but does take some thinking to keep the fire burning. Note it also works really well with 6 shot GG in crucible. the hit and explosion or the throwing knife both count towards getting your grenade back.

2 RespuestasGet a cloak that has the “distribution” perk. [i]using a class ability cools down all other abilities [/i] it’s a sizable chunk too. About a fifth of normal abilities (dodge, knife, grenade) and about 15 seconds of super cool down. I haven’t found a use limit/cooldown lockout in it either

I mean, if you hit and kill one enemy your charge will be done just before the duration of Playing with Fire runs out. I tend to run Gambler's Dodge to get more knives and get it up to two so I can get it stacked twice then easily get it to three. And Brawler being on as a modifier just makes it hilarious, it's non-stop knife throwing.

Lol ik it is really fun. i was doing it in blind well and it can output a lot of damage. i really hope it is viable for other endgsme activities.

Been doing that since day one. Always the designated blind well boss burner. Usually can down both tier 2 bosses shields with one harmony orb. One super and then tripmine knives tripmine dodge knives tripmine. With the harmony buff you can throw 5-6 out per orb you get. It's LIT quite literally
