If You Camp The Portal and Never Get Any Kills...

Gambit isn't a competitive gamemode, who cares. They probably are doing their 3 weekly matches and, like myself, would rather be dead than play a gambit match. I'm sure you're equally useless when completing your weekly crucible matches.

heh yea and don't stand next to the portal when phalanx are around. dam thing shield based me right into a portal imagine my surprise when I was the invader and just finished my super trying to kill my primeval

51 RespuestasGambit Troubles: -The one guy who loves invading but sucks at it and won't let you do it. -The one guy who loves invading and is too good at it and isn't on your team -Watching your team pepper the blockers with their kinetic weapons. Literally any other weapon would be better. -The guy who camps the bank to snipe mobs, but doesn't go out to get the motes and leaves them there to despawn. -Anyone who thinks that your 13 motes is less important than them getting 5 for a small blocker. -People who stop shooting at the Primeval to kill the sniper mobs. -People who don't kill the Envoys -Playing against a 4 stack Did I miss anything?

To be fair, 90% of time I enter, and turn around see where they are... i get hit with sleeper shot. >_>

2 RespuestasDon't forget about the guys ignoring the drifter and the bar on the top of the screen. The drifter literally says your team has enough to summon a primeval and these guys are doing anything but banking the motes.

12 RespuestasGambit is kinda boring now. Everyone using sleeper. I’ve now come across teams that as soon as they are invaded, all retreat to a cave or something hard to get into and all 4 camp with sleeper/rockets/supers so there’s no way the invader is getting the kill. Now while it is good strategy, just like team shotting in crucible, it is incredibly boring. It only took me a couple weeks and now I’m bored of gambit.

2 RespuestasI'm not going to lie, I'm a petty dick. There are plenty of things that trigger me and make me say screw it in a gambit game with randoms. If we don't even summon the boss, and the scoreboard shows I killed 50 enemies and banked 40+ motes, I'm sitting in the middle for the rest of that game. A bunch of taken blockers and the rest of my team is camping far away rather than trying to kill the blockers, I sit. I clear and entire wave of adds, get a 15 stack, only to see 20+ motes despawn because my teammates are camping the invasion portal, I sit. Again I'm petty, but it's your fault I sit...

They need to equip that Edge Transit man. Things go a lot smoother with than weapon.

I like to stay near the bank and snipe enemies. This allows me to clear blockers and watch for invaders. Also it prevents me from stealing motes. Overall, I think having one person that doesn't pick up motes is the best way to play.

If you camp the portal it doesn't matter how many guardian kills you get - you're not helping your team enough. Kill adds, clear blockers deposit motes and invade whenever the opportune moment occurs.

Not only do I camp the portal and never get any kills, I also hold 15 motes and grab power before I jump through as well.

3 RespuestasI got 20+ a few times with Ace of spades, EP shotgun and tarantula. Then proceeded to send the whole team to 0 because they got greedy..a few times so do you love me now papa?

7 RespuestasIf an invader goes in, and gets 0 kills.... they should not be allowed to invade again in that round. There should be a debuff called "Scrub" or something that doesn't allow them to go in until the other 3 people go during that round (which includes Primeval invading). Actually adds strategy for teams too, because some teams have 1 dedicated person only invade, but if he gets smoked in 3 seconds, then someone else needs to do it later.
