Nerfing the sleeper is a bad move In my opinion. The gun should be a one shot. It is an exotic linear fusion rifle that shoots exactly like it should. Which can be avoided by simply evading. It fires slow enough to be dodged. The problem is if it is nerfed it will not only be useless in Gambit but also in many pve activities where it is essentially used more. I would be ok if they left the gun alone and just locked it from Gambit. Don't wreck this gun.

3 RespuestasEditado por Ahabb43: 9/19/2018 3:47:29 PMI disagree. Forsaken was very meh. Most of the effort was put into dreaming city, which is awesome, but the rest of the expansion suffers. Gambit needed time in crucible labs to play in real world scenarios, console performance/UI issues are terrible (8570 upvates on Reddit), campaign cut short to give weekly missions for longevity, Crucible is one shot heaven mixed with some of the worst lag in gaming, blind well after Seed of light is pointless and RNG for seed keeps you there, low soft caps make doing activities even less rewarding, Exotic yr1 duplicates, Public events nerfed heavily and heroics aren't really worth it, Infusion system keeps you playing with undesirable weapons and bad armor rolls, Legendaries dropping way below power level combined with infusion is poor design, loot pool seems very small but it may be because I get the same drops too often, and much more. Forsaken does not respect a player's time which is why a 6/10 is generous. As a player with 100hrs, I have the time and am already through the hype to come to that conclusion. For people that think 100hrs is a good investment, it isn't when you play a loot based game and hours 10-100 have nothing new to show. I guess this is where the Bungie Defense Force drops in because any valid criticism of this game is the sign of a "Filthy Casual" Edited: For the sleeper thing, leave sleeper alone and use the prestige raid system to lock weapons out.

Editado por Mind: 9/20/2018 1:27:57 PMBecause Bungie stole her community with 2 empty DLCs. We paid almost 100€ por all content, and now they want to charge us 40€ more. This is a very serious fraud. Forsaken should be vanilla for 60€, not 3th DLC for 140€.

5 Respuestasnew expansion is not great... maybe for some... the new wore off that shiney real quick...
-
21 RespuestasA large part of the community is made up of entitled, whiney millenials who think things should be tailored to them. Bungie needs to stop appeasing these pricks

complains about community whining.... proceeds to whine.... 🤔

5 RespuestasI believe all the whining got us this great expansion...

They should lock sleeper out of gambit.

2 RespuestasSleeper is a hitscan, one shot anywhere, long range, short scoped, heavy aim assist, weapon that not only is optimal for both sides of invasions- it also does great boss dps. The only downside is the charge time but there’s a catalyst that shortens it and when invading you can see through walls. This is the only gun in the game that does this and is less noticeable than a sniper scope. It’s essentially the only gambit option which not only lessens weapon diversity, but it also drastically pigeon holes invasion interactions to be about the same every time. As a pve player who doesn’t like gambit even without the sleeper something needs to be done. Spartan laser effect plus you drop heavy on death would make invasions more diverse and enjoyable

There's always going to be whining in the community. Changes that benefits one group will usually disadvantage another.
-
I agree, but I disagree with the "dodging part" I've never once missed a sleeper shot due to someone simply evading it, the sleeper has good aim assist and honestly is supppppeeerr easy to aim, js
-
We want grind! Wait, why so long to gain power? Damn you Bungo!!! I agree with the MW core complaint. Just makes so sense to require cores to infuse. Leave them to MW a weapon, but dammit, not to infuse!
-
It’s a decrease in its aim assist on players. This isn’t a nerf, it’s balancing, it’ll still one shot body shot, you just need to aim better.
-
Did you expect anything less?

Sleeper doesn't need a nerf, and its sad to see this starting already. People are only complaining about gambit, and rather then learning the weaknesses of the weapon and how to avoid it they complain about its prevalence. So seriously you want a great pve weapon destroyed purely for Gambit? If you pay attention to the cues on screen and look for cover when an invader comes over sleeper is pretty useless. Force that person to come to you and lots of things are more viable at close range then the sleeper. If you sit out in the open of course your going to get cross mapped, its no different then being sniped. The Destiny community generally focuses on whatever works the best, so after sleeper people will move on to whatever the easiest most viable weapon is and a large majority will use whatever that is. Then we will get a whole new trend of nerf whatever is next. Its a slippery nerf slope on these forums.

5 RespuestasThey're just reducing aim assist. Itll still do crazy dmg to anything it hits. Personally, I thought the weapon should have gotten a buff and a nerf. Decrease body dmg, but double the crit dmg and increase the chance for ricochet rounds to hit other targets. In other words. One shot head shot to players, but bosses can melt even faster, but no longer able to one shot body players from across map. I like the change they're making. Hopefully opens up some diversity in gambit. Currently, it's way to easy to map a player. Especially if you get w lucky spawn and the opposing team is in a bad position because of enemy spawns. Just because they all get ready and take cover, depending on spawns, it's already too late. With reduced aim assist, avoiding being shot will be easier while being on the run. Currently, anyone with thumbs can body shot with the sleeper. Just my opinion though. I still want the gun to be godly.

It doesn’t shoot slow enough to be dodged most of the time. If you aren’t in cover when he invades, you have the potential to be instantly dead in easily less than 2 seconds. If you want to fight back, you have to use sleeper. It’s ridiculous to say you should just hide the entire time an invader is present. You don’t have that time to spare, and the only guns that can compete with sleeper at its effective range are snipers.
-
Just reduce ammo by two and call it good. Four per pick up is extensive
-
It should have been called The legendary expansion of the dumpster fire!
-
The Nerf it's getting is fair, dosn't impact good players, and makes it need a bit of skill
-
3 RespuestasBullshit you've dodged the sleeper. Liar.
-
4 RespuestasJust make the charge rate 1000, but increase the damage.
-
“Community whining” is why Forsaken is “great”.

1 RespuestaEditado por Nimue: 9/19/2018 12:28:37 PMBungie always folds. Enjoy this while you can. I don’t even have the damn thing and I don’t want it nerfed. Aim assist or whatever doesn’t matter its the principle that we get another nerf cuz “omg it one shots and i dont know what to do.” When thats not enough we will nerf it just a little more. And a little more. And a little more
