Buying a Nintendo Switch Saturday.
Any must have games? My last Nintendo console was the gameboy advance, lol. Also, I'm waiting until Saturday because it's a Gamestop Pro Day, as an FYI to any Elite or Pro members on here.
Edit: Got impatient and bought it on my lunch break, lol. I also picked up Mario Odyssey as my first game, as I felt it would be blasphemous for my first game to be third party.

Breath of the Wild is a very good game, with nice design, good puzzles and fun gameplay.Octopath Traveler is pretty much a must-have if you like JRPGs. That game has lovely designs, fun combat, great writing and a lot of charm.

Breath of the Wild is a masterpiece imo and Mario Kart 8 is well worth getting. Also Stardew Valley is fantastic and i spent so many hours on it. Also Surgeon Simulator is out today on Switch, and I ran out the door to go to work and left my Switch in it's dock.. (it's ok I can play it tonight on the train)

11 RespuestasThere isn't a single must-have game on Switch. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is definitely not a great game, and can already be bought and played on Wii U. Switch barely has any exclusives. Its library is mainly comprised of ports from other platforms. If you've played it before then you're paying for it again.

Here are the games you want: Super Mario Odyssey Legend of Zelda - Breath of the Wild Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Splatoon 2 Octopath Traveler Dragon Quest - Builders Darkest Dungeon Kirby - Star Allies Hyrule Warriors Donkey Kong Country - Tropical Freeze Super Bomberman R Mario and Rabbids - Kingdom Battle Here are the games to get when they're on a sale: Mario Tennis Aces Arms Pokken Attack on Titan 2 Xenoblade Chronicles Rocket League Captain Toad - Treasure Tracker There are also a whole host of indie games I haven't checked out yet, and a good few first party games coming in the near future.

BOTW, definitely. Mario Kart 8 if you haven't gotten it on Wii U.

6 RespuestasMario Odyssey and Kart if you have friends. Splatoon 2 if you enjoy shooters. Though to really enjoy it you'll need online. BoTW is a solid all around open world adventure game Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a great rpg (though if you're like me you may struggle to get pass the over sexualization of female characters). Disgaea 5 complete is a fun Tactical RPG Bayonetta 1 and 2 are good action adventure hack and slash games. Stardew Valley is fun to just chill out in. Dead Cells is very fun. Skyrim is also there, but I wouldn't recommend the overpriced switch version since it's literally everywhere else cheaper. In just a year the switch alrwady has you covered in whatever gaming need you may want.

Skullgirls and A Hat in Time are getting ported over, so I’d grab those when they release. I’m also in the minority here, but I would recommend skipping BotW. Imo, it’s pretty meh all around. Edit: ARMS is also good fun to play every now & then. Not a lot of single player content, though.

Mmmmm... I got the switch but honestly I have not touched in in like 5 months. Nothing really catches my eye. BotW was amazing. It is a must-have. Mario Odyssey is a pretty well-done game. Splatoon 2 if you want. Other than that, I got nothin. [spoiler]Oo and Dead Cells.[/spoiler]
