Lots of complainers In here. I have created some topics in here before but I’ve always enjoyed the game. I know a few people who actually rage quit at this game. That seems like a personal issue. I’ve seen some things about shotgun campers. I’ve seen things about consistent snipers. I’ve seen things about one shot grenade launchers. The arc strider meta. Wormhusk being OP. But what will never get old is that there is always a counter. And everyone has access to every weapon. If you aren’t willing to put in hours to get something you want. That’s fine. If you’re going to complain about it then why are you here? Spider-Man is out. Go play that. Listen to this: Snipers? They aren’t always a good aim. If you know they are sniping don’t peek the lane. Pulse rifles are a pretty good counter. Shotguns? Do you see a blinking reticule on your mini map? Then it’s probably a shot gun. Use your own shot gun or bait him out. Run away. Knowing when to fight is an advantage. Grenade launchers? Most of them are heavy and the best are heavy. It’s pretty easy to get a grenade launcher to drop so just get your own even if it’s a blue. As for secondary launchers having quick movement can counter it because they only get one shot. Supers? Can’t fight it then run away. Don’t get upset because you die to something that is meant to outplay most guns. Deal with it. Wormhusk? Yeah you missed out on a kill. Regain your health and fight another time. They just used a get out of jail free card. It’s okay. The new kill times makes wormhusk not so bad anymore. Remember the Graviton Lance meta? Good counter was a weapon like the scathelock. 600 rpm and high caliber with decent range. The thing about his game is that the power is to you. You can use whatever you want and with random rolls you might have a killer gun. I got a Right Side of Wrong pulse rifle (4 burst) that has firmly planted and head seeker. I think I got a 2 burst kill once. Beautiful stability at range when crouching. And also a 2 burst side arm called smugglers word with tap the trigger. Wonderful at close range. With that said, If you don’t like this game then play something else. Destiny is a beautiful game. playing with friends is hilarious. Don’t have friends or are a little shy? It’s okay. I’ve been there. Most of my friends don’t play so I made new ones. This game requires a special taste. You have to like searching for the best gun. Spending time on the grind for both weapons and power. Trying over and over to complete the activity alone that you are definitely not leveled enough for (I’m looking at you nightfall) Destiny is the game for the determined, optimistic, and cool headed. I’ve always seen a challenge to be enlightening. I’m not really a meta slave. I like to switch around a lot. I enjoy metas because killing people with non meta is so satisfying. It’s what keeps me in this game. I don’t play this game so I can use the same Loadout and play only pvp. If you’re here for pvp that’s fine but just remember that pvp is only about 35% of this game. Take a deep breath and if you’re having trouble maybe take a break.
