I was calling this from the begining, crucible will be a shit show. Average to bad players will be even worse and skilled players will be even better making the average and less skilled players hate crucible.
rush shotgunning, camping shotgunners and camping snipers all using insta kill weapons.

Shotguns don't require too much skill, but still better then grav lance teamshot meta. Plus, you could just use a shotgun and outplay them? Skill much?

I preferred getting into primary gunfights haven't been in one yet since the update. Would've preferred a buff to ttk and abilities then this atrocity. It wasn't hard to gun down 3 guys sitting on top of each other in D1 due to the ttk being much faster then it is now. They were dead before they knew where the shots were coming from. Heck even a well placed grenade would wipe 3 guys holding onto each other. So yeah skill much? Where is it? Have yet to see it. I've noticed the people that enjoy this update are the people that couldn't get a kill with a gun. Now they are ecstatic they can string together 1-2 kills with auto delete before dying.

If you trade every time you run into someone with a shotgun thats on you buddy. Just jump over them, hide, find a way to outplay them. Or better yet. [spoiler]use a primary[/spoiler] No seriously, a side arm or smg or handcannon all screw shotty apes a million times over.

People are mad because they can't counter a close range gun. Ever heard of the Felwinters Lie? That thing was broken. Have you tried the telesto?

I didn't think the feltwinters was broken. You had to contest someone who had ohk stickies so therefore you were putting yourself at risk. There is none of that on D2 and primaries kill slower then D1 as well. I have no desire to try telesto it doesn't suit my playstyle which is extremely aggressive. After my tom fullery yesterday of shoulder charge only i'm back to over a 2kd per match but still zero skill involved in that 2kd it doesn't take skill to auto delete people i'm sorry.

Idk about you but the felwinters lie could kill at medium range. That is broken. Just having ammo and people running shotguns because they are the easiest special weapon to use is not. It takes skill to outbest a shotty ape. If you can do that, you win.

Yeah it's not hard to outgun someone that is aping you just have to play more passive which is boring. Now if the primaries ttk was actually buffed that would be great. Handcannons for example take 3 crits where in D1 it was 1 crit 2 body the likely hood of you hitting 6 crits in D2 with 2 shotgun warriors pushing you is next to none. Missing just one of those shots effs you so you whip out your auto delete gun and finish them off.... so much skill.

Medium range is hand cannon range. A few feet before the 180 fall off starts.

For a 180? The fall off on 180s is horrible. We aren't talking about the eyasluna or ill will archetypes. More like a year 3 last word.

It was killing at 6-7 feet. He tried for a medium range shot about 15 feet and did 0 damage.

Compare the TTK : 57 Crit 180's, meaning the optimal TTK kill is 180/60 = 3 shots per second. You need 4 shots minimum to kill, two heads and two body's. A Felwinters is a guaranteed one shot at 7-8 FT, just like you said, and lets assume 180 is most effective at 15. You could easily slide up and kill the enemy before the would get the four shots off.

And I agree. That's why I want powerful primaries like the last word back. But we don't need to nerf anything. Only buff.

I never said anything needs to be nerfed lol all I said is shotguns don't take all that much skill... they never have. Would love for primaries and abilities to be buffed but one can only dream it seems this game is balanced around PC.
