Return of Heavy Weapon type: Machine Guns
It's Year 2 now, but my loadout is just not the same. No matter what i have, i don't have anything (with range) that i could use to mow down waves at a steady rate. The Sweet Business just can't compare to my favorites in Destiny 1 (such as the The Silvered Dread or the Thunderlord and it's sister variants).
Bringing Machine Guns back will be a huge game changer.

1 RespuestaJust one more thing in destiny you can thank pvp for ruining. Pvp is the only reason weapons changed. I mean the logical thing to do is separate the two modes, but we all know how incompetent bunghole is so it’ll probably nvr happen. If it makes sense bungie will do the exact opposite.

Take a look at the newest trailer. If you paid close attention there is a quick shot of a guardian reloading a HM! They are coming back just not until the later dlc’s.

1 RespuestaTunderlord and siblings could come back as an hardlight/borealis elemental switcher. That would at least make it less crowded. could be a whole quest of fusing them together.

I do miss heavy machineguns, but unfortunately if they were added back into the game, they would need to be nerfed or everything else would need to be buffed, mind you, we are returning to a similar state to D1 with the shotty meta and shoulder charging so heavy machineguns could probably make a return in forsaken without being nerfed much, if at all.

4 RespuestasIt's funny how most people used rocket launchers in Destiny 1, but now that machine guns are gone people are all saying they used them much more. Not saying I don't want them back, just saying it doesn't make sense.

It would be nice to see LMGs make a return. Here very soon, our Heavy slot is going to go from crowded to sparse. We need another type of weapon (or more?) to fill the void. LMGs, although frustrating to face in the Crucible in the wrong (or right?) hands, were a great PvE weapon: both in feel sms purpose. The only thing they needed was to balance them as a high ammo weapon instead of a high damage weapon [in the Crucible], and/or balance damage with recoil, handling, and aim assist. Although we really wouldn't need [i]more[/i] weapons in the primary and secondary slots, LMGs could be added as Kinetic and Energy weapons, and HMGs reserved to the heavy slot perhaps only able to be hipfired unless "mounted" (aiming sets the mount?). Either way: many of us want them sweet LMGs...

I honestly think they could come back, with very limited ammo per box in crucible. It was always a gamble running a machine gun in d1 because you could get more kills... or you could just get killed by a rocket across the map.

8 RespuestasOh, I'd like them back but heavy spawns far too often in pvp. One dude with a machine gun would just blow everyone else out. So yeah, dont think it's making a comeback.

11 RespuestasYou say this now, but if it was added back into the game, with power ammo spawning ever minute, and if destiny 1 is anything to go off of, players would likely grab ammo, and get five or so kills before moving to the next power ammo spawn

One of the best type of guns, the Heavy machine gun is sorely missed in destiny 2. The lacklustre Launchers and Snipers, and fusions totally need this gun brought back.

Sadly they didnt change the heavy system in PvP so of course they are not bringing heavy machine guns back..
