Strike Catalysts still feel to low of a drop..........
I feel as if the ones that drop from killing enemies and the ones from winning crucible matches have a higher drop rate than strikes and it does not make much sense............

1 RespuestaCrucible catalysts are a myth as far as I am concerned. I have never had one drop or seen one drop for anybody else. Whereas I have had exactly 1 strike catalyst drop. Personally I think xur should sell 1 catalyst a week.

I would run strikes if I thought there was an acceptable chance of getting a catalyst. As it stands, the drop rate is so damned low, it may as well be a 0% chance.

15 RespuestasBungie turning their game back into a "job" is what made me finally jump ship. To each their own, if you have tons of free time by all means enjoy, but I have real life stuff I'd rather (and need to) be doing. I play games for fun, this game had it's moments but I'm done keeping up with the playtime. (this is an alt account BTW, my main had 976 hours when I deleted) I really only even bothered to comment because this was a very sticky point with me, the strike catalyst drop rates and putting MIDA and Sleeper in places they really don't belong just to force play diversity.

2 RespuestasThe big problem is that the Strike catalysts only drop from the chest at the end. It can take 10-15 minutes to do a Strike, and at the end you get one chance at the catalyst. It`s similar for Crucible catalysts, except you need to win the match to get a chance at those. Compare this to catalysts like Tractor Canon or DARCI, which drop from any killed enemy in PvE. There's simply more chances for the latter to drop compared to the former. Strike catalysts really should drop more often, maybe with an even higher chance on Prestige Nightfalls.

I have yet to see one catalyst drop from a strike and I've run literally hundreds. It's a crock of shit if you ask me.

Well, being that the only i ever got from a strike was sturm the day it dropped i would have to agree.

2 RespuestasI seriously doubt Bungie even changed the drop rate. Its ridiculous. I have reset my Valor rank 5 frickin times and still no catalyst for my Vigilance Wing (favorite weapon). The catalysts should be earned at the Gunsmith where they belong, not this silly RNG.

1 RespuestaYesterday I dismanteled a Sturm that was sitting in the vault for a while. Maybe half an hour later I got its catalyst from a random doing patrols. 10 minutes later another player found it too. How bizzare. [spoiler]Like if you got Sturm Catalyst this weekend[/spoiler]

2 RespuestasI am rank 60 plus with vanguard and still not one catalyst drop. I stopped doing heroics and nightfalls once my toons hit 385. The grind for these catalyst is absurd so fuxk bungie. Ill wait till they up the chance again, maybe by 0.004.

3 RespuestasFor some terrible reason Bungie decided to tie their drop rate to NF high scores. This is moronic and was never well communicated. Their drop rate seems to be as bad or worse than the NF loot. The rate is so low that it goes from "something to grind for" to "chore". Chores aren't fun. And they're not rewarding.
