Titan barrier should be replaced...
With an overshield that can be activated at any time by holding down O.
The barrier is terrible for both PvP and pve , it takes too long to deploy and is easily avoidable. Hunter jump for instance is perfect for just hopping over it. I've also seen many just run through it due to the low damage it inflicts....
It really is the most useless excuse for an ability. It adds zero survivability to titan and the other classes can actually survive a lot more thanks to their great selections of exotics and abilities.
This is urgent for the class, you have let it rot and die as a class.

3 RespuestasI made a post earlier saying that you should be able to pick the towering barrier and move it. Hold button to deploy it, hold again to pick it up and walk with it. Hold again to put it down and shoot again. Can't shoot while walking with barrier. Would make titans useful to a group again, fireteam could walk behind shield bearing titan like infantry moving behind a tank. Cross open ground under fire, close the gap on snipers camping lanes etc.

Barricade is amazing for taking objectives, controlling choke points, safe Rez and controlling the flow of battle. You’re probably using it out in the open when you’re getting shot to bits and completely wasting it.

Just speed up deploy time, same for rift. Problem solved. Next.

My biggest problem with it is that theres just no bonuses anywhere for it. All barriers across all specs are the same. Compare that to rifts and dodges which while not massively varied at least have something

The only change that should be made is to have it be triggered by double tapping crouch. Not by holding it.

Nope, I love my barrier for PvE and PvP PvE: Use for lots of obvious shit PvP: Step 1- Get enemy to chase me Step 2- block doorway Step 3- throw pulse grenades at barrier Step 4- watch enemy get stuck in barrier and get killed by grenades Step 5- Laugh and eat popcorn on their body

I see too many titans that never use the barricade. Of course barricades are useless.. [spoiler]IF YOU KEEP THEM IN YOUR BACK POCKET[/spoiler] If you actually use it, experiment with it, you might realise it has its utilities. I'm not saying it's perfect they way it is. The animation could do with a bump in speed or make things blurry if you try to see through enemy ones. I'd love to see an exotic that turns them into one way mirrors.

3 RespuestasU have an exotic that can make it shoot flames. It is a wall. It makes cover. Its good that it does damage and fyi If an opponent walks through it... they are most likely only one melee hit.

Animation definitely needs sped up. Maybe add the blinding effect to them in PvP as well. Beyond that, I think it's golden. Try placing a Rally Barricade right at a enemy spawn point during a raid or other high end activity. They'll instantly walk through and be blind while also taking damage. Towering Barricade is ideal for cutting off corridors.

As a titan main I disagree. I love the barricade. Suuuuper useful in pve. You can use it to rez downed teammates, as cover when you have low health, dps with rally barricade, as cover while you scan an objective like the big room at the end of pyrimidion. It can work in pvp if you use it right. But you do have to think more about it than you would a hunter dodge. If you use it wrong there are greater consequences. I am a big fan of it, but that could be because defender is my main class. So it acts pretty similar to the bubble.

30 RespuestasTowering barricade in PvP can block paths, be set around corners as a trap, used as bait for shotgun kills, used to cover flanks or to block supers/power weapons. How you think its useless is beyond me.

9 RespuestasAgreed but the Forum Hunter will bash and spew lies trying to convince every one that their dodge is worst skill in game and barricade is this god skill that needs nerfed while dodge needs all the buffs.

I agree that titans need some love, but that ability would be complete cheese in gunfights. Possibly even worse than armor lock!
