Optional Matchmaking allows us that don't have active clans; or friends online in D2 anymore and want the New rewards; to grind for that 60k score emblem aura.
It also allows those that want to run it solo still can; and fire teams can still run as normal.
Please add this bungie it's a massive oversight not to.

4 RespuestasNah I’m good. I don’t want someone who is stupid to come in and screw it up. It’s not hard to find a team at all.

Make matchmaking for nightfalls unlock for after at least one class has reached max light... Simple solution to a simple problem

5 RespuestasSome of you are pretending that nf and raids are too complicated and takes too much skill to implement matchmaking. BLAAAAAHAHAHA! Go ahead and believe that if it gives you a false sense of superiority and skill. The success rate of matchmade groups in nf or raids would probably be the same as an lfg group. And what do people care if it's optional?
-
You are beating a dead horse. The community at large has asked for this since year one, never addressed (that I know of), and apparently never will. I guess the strategy and skill needed to successfully complete it are way over three random player's heads (sarcasm).

5 RespuestasTrue, for the lack of player base there is for all 3 platforms, we need it. Use LFG and waiting like a hr for players to do the NF.
-
lol people have been asking for this since destiny 1 day 1
-
Well, if Nightfalls had optional matchmaking, that would mean I would play Nightfalls. And Bungie doesn't want me to play Nightfalls.

2 RespuestasI wish they would make strikes optional . I hate having to play with runners or people who just sit there till we reach check points. We shouldn't be forced into 3 player teams when we wanna play single person strikes or doubles strikes.

1 RespuestaBeen saying this for a while. There is zero reason to not have matchmaking in Nightfall or even Raids. Other games do it with no issues and, unless Destiny is somehow that "special child" there's no reason it can't work as well as it does for those games. If you want a private clan only run then invite your clans to a private party and then jump into the raid or nightfall. This feature has always worked so what's the issue. Heck it's exactly what clans do right now! Let the rest of us just join a queue and be matchmade. To top it all off there isn't even any reason why the queue can't have conditions like the Trials queue already has i.e. level, light value and mic present for game chat! The only thing missing is a vote to kick mechanism, which would allow a majority consensus to kick a player from the team and have the matchmaker replace them with someone queueing. Oh wait I'm doing their design teams job for them again!
-
"OPTIONAL" is a good idea i think.

Bungie does everything to make sure you dont play their game with strangers. I went into WoW with 0 real life friends. If Blizzard made sure I couldnt be able to join strangers as much as Bungie tried, I wouldnt have payed the subscription for years. My WoW gaming history would be maybe a month. Being able to find long-term AND occasional party members should be as convenient as possible. They dont know how to handle a game like this on PC. The bare minimum would be to be able to list and browse fireteams for each activity INGAME. They still couldnt even put a clan chat in the game. Im going to be downvoted to shit by console players, and someone will reply "this is not an mmo", but thats how it is.

2 Respuestas1. guided games. Though they take a bit, they're worth it. 2. The console lfg. I'm pretty sure PS4 recently got theirs, so yeah. 3. Make a post in the D2 forums. Someone there will be willing to help. 4. If you're on Xbox I could run a few Nightfalls with you.
-
To be honest, I thought guided games was for this problem. Try guided games, and if you do, be patient and understanding. Too many times, guided games or not, my clan and I have tried to help people with the endgame material that they want to do, and the gamer was toxic, screaming half the time, and calling us bad team-mates constantly. Leave a good impression! You'll make some friends willing to do more stuff with you more often. This is coming from a guy who did not play raids AT ALL until D1's age of triumph. My friends from that time still get on D2 to play the raid every month since.

This is a battle the community will never win. Nobody (even at Bungie) knows why this has not been implemented yet.

2 RespuestasEditado por TheShadow-cali: 4/5/2018 6:15:48 PMI don't know how it would need it knowing Deej said D2 is....
a friends game
This tell me you should have hundreds of friends playing D2 and you shouldn't have any problem at all running a nightfall. Edit: Almost forgot. And Luke said....
it's a collectors game
So knowing you collected everything in the first 2 months because it all dropped like candy. What are your rewards in Nightfall other then pointless cosmetics?
-
Might as well do it for raids then.
-
Logically speaking, there’s really no reasonable excuse to not have matchmaking for Nightfalls. Those that don’t want to use matchmaking don’t have to use it unless someone is holding a gun to their head. Those that choose to use the matchmaking will go in knowing that there’s a good chance that it will be a clusterphuck, but at least it would be their choice. It’s a cartoon game for fun, not a prestigious activity.
-
It’s a shame but I don’t think this shall ever be implemented despite players asking repeatedly since the early days of D1.... one of hundreds of reasons why players are leaving Destiny. The LFG forums used to be the answer but even they seem to be dying, it’s nothing compared to the way it was in D1
-
This will never get implemented though... Things will only get implemented in Destiny when either no-one is asking for it, or nobody wants it in the game. When people want it in the game, it will not get implemented. It's a very easy rule Bungie uses these last few years.

NOOOOO.DEAL WITH IT. THERE LIKE A HUNDRED AND FIFTY WAYS TO FIND A GROUP NOWADAYS.
