At the end of D1 I was pumped for D2. This game has huge possibilities and could be one of the best games ever made.
I think the 3 worst things about D2 is the weapon system, the lack of lore in the game, and the fact that it's 95% towards casual players. Not that i'm hardcore or anything, but i do miss the infinite VOG grind trying to get a FB. Now the weapon perk system stucks, the 2 primary with shotguns and snipers as heavy is awful, and the grind is boring and not rewarding.
HoW was the best era in D1. Everything in the game was relevant because of etheric light, and the raid weapons and light house weapons were the best. Actually noticeably better, so it was worth doing the end game stuff. That's the way it's supposed to be. Also, needing a consumable to get any exotic is beyond stupid. Exotics should be way harder to get, and way more rewarding.
TLDR: D2 is total junk, and i wish they would have just made more expansions for D1. No amount of tweaking to fix this game, it literally needs a complete reboot with the weapon slots going back as the 1st thing to do.
:)

6 RespuestasEditado por TheShadow-cali: 4/3/2018 1:38:35 AMWell, no one to blame but Bungie, not even Activision. Because of Luke smith and the higher ups the live team has a task no team should have to deal with and they are not going to be able to turn this game around like they did with ROI for a long time and that is even if they can. Bungie cut to many corners this time around that they left themselves a in a bind that they can't get out of. I didn't play D1 for a year and a half because how the sandbox destroyed ever fun weapon there was to use in D1 because of little Timmy. Thinking nerfing every popular weapon in the entire game was called "balancing the entire game" Hell yeah, logic at it's best basing an entire games adjustment around PvP. I can see not much has changed 3 years later. It didn't help either that the sand box lead would throw fits nerfing things when he got owned in PvP by his own player base. What was that he had a grunt say on the live stream back when the Regen and Truth nerf took place Knowing the grunt has only been working for this company for 6 months at that time. Oh yea, "I was annoyed" so that is way I nerfed Hunters.... Well, here is D2. Thinking to myself, hmm, a year and a half has gone by and I heard a few good things about what the live team did with ROI. Thought to myself. Maybe, just maybe they used their brain and improved upon the existing content even knowing the changes that have taken place. Nope, Bungie literally nerfed D2 to the ground and tried to play it off that this game was created for "casuals" So knowing this, I guess the biggest question is, what can Bungie actually do knowing they are set in their ways, the live team that is not enough manpower to be working on D2 and the rest of the studio is working on D3?

Predictions: 1. Some form of rngesus will be implemented in D2 this year 2. Weapon system will get an over haul thsi year Wait and see ;)

2 RespuestasSadly D2 was an embarrassment to Bungie. The studio that created Halo just laid a gigantic egg. Nothing short of a complete reboot can fix what is wrong with D2. Well documented and mentioned many times. The problem started with the vision. Change must occur at the SR Management level to show the community that Bungie is serious about the franchise going forward. If change doesn’t occur whose to say D3 won’t be a shitshow either? Activisions 2nd Qtr results will be made available in April. The final good news story they will have regarding D2 and the preorder/season pass revenue. Once DLC2 hits in May it’s all downhill from there. That’s when Bungie is going to ask you to spend more for the next expansion probably coming out around September. Will you give Bungie more of your money based on what they delivered thus far? Will you give Bungie more of your money knowing that the incompetents behind D2 are hard at it again on D3? I think not.

2 RespuestasD2 let a lot of people down.

It let a lot of people down, trust me.

1 RespuestaI've played D1 for a long time but where the heck is HoW???
-
Great post, sadly I don’t think Bungie really listen.
-
Yea I was very disapointed with d2 after playing d1 for 3 years was excited at first but started noticing all the problems it's a downgrade from d1
-
D2 let us all down bro. The only people that are still pretending to like the game are small time content creators that have a vested personal interest and its good for their business to promote it. Aka the "Crucible Radio" boys.
HoW was the best era in D1.
Very true, all pve content relevant, your old time respected by allowing you to bring up vanilla gear to current power, fun and fast paced PvP where everything from the 3 exotic cannons, all pulses, scouts, all cannons, snipers, shotties, lmgs, rockets, fusions and mythoclast were all strong and powerful, trials with boons new and exciting and with cool, unique loot, etc
-
2 RespuestasDestiny 2 was built for pvp and not much else, now that bungie realizes their esport idea failed miserably they are trying to pick up the pieces, g luck scumgie.
-
That go fast update is garbage if you aren't a hunter. my gosh. Absolute garbage
-
D1 let me down too. HoW was a decent band aid to the let down, but I didn’t get excited until TTK. D2 thought it could get away with the same mistakes, and that’s why we’re here.

19 RespuestasYou’re being Nostalgic. Y1 was my favorite year too, not because it was good, because I’m a dumbass nostalgic -blam!-. Y1 was terrible.

i have an idea, go on youtube listen to the whole soundtrack of Destiny 2 called forge ahead, while your listening to the music imagine your the guardian which you created running into battle to fight the enemy then tell me you dont want to play destiny 2, with some people this will get them into the mind set to play d2 if you like battle music others it wont. seriously try it.

[Chorus:] D2 let me down, D2 let me down D2 let me down, D2 let me down [Verse 1:] Nobody ever loved me like D1 does Oh, D1 does Yeah, D1 does And if somebody loved me like D1 does Oh, D1 does Yes, D1 does

HOW was the best time in the game. God I miss those days

3 RespuestasAt the end of D1, everyone was screaming at how much the game sucked and how Bungie ruined their game with nerf after nerf. Then D2 came out and everyone now fondly remembers D1 as a second Golden Age. I don't. Fuck D1. But fuck D2 more.

9 RespuestasYeah like we haven't heard that feedback before.....Given your game time you can hardly complain about the grind though. You didn't even do it.

27 RespuestasWhy do you people keep repeating the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!

4 RespuestasAt the end of D1 I was sad it was going to end and wanted them to just keep updating it instead of making a new game. Then D2 came out and i was pleasantly surprised and never looked back.
I think one of the best things about D2 is the weapon system
