Hello! I'm not sure if this question has been answered before...but what in the actual heck is wrong with Hardlight's recoil??? I'm honestly hoping that someone (Bungie or Knowledgeable Person) can answer this for me, because the numbers on this gun simply do not add up to the actual result.
I guess the reason I want to know why this is, is in order to help me better understand the game mechanics and the system of this game. I mean, according to Destiny Tracker, the numbers are the best there are for Auto Rifles, yet it performs horribly.
Stability = 68
Recoil Direction = 100
With these stats it would appear that Hardlight would shoot like a laser! Best stats out of all Auto Rifles, hands down.
However, it doesn't...it performs more like the stats were...
(like Null Calamity 9)
Stability = 36
Recoil Direction = 51
So am I missing something here as far as weapon statistics work? Why does the gun perform so poorly with such good stats. Other Auto Rifles with much less solid stats perform soooo much better its ridiculous. Is there a point where the better the stats are the more it actually hurts autos??
Does anyone know the answer to this?
Thank you.

2 RespuestasI was under the impression that recoil direction was how tightly the rounds grouped into a linear path when firing. The stability looks great on it also. Id imagine the skeleton for the gun performs greatly, but when they add the exotic perk it effects the recoil somehow.

Recoil is fine, screen shake is there because it has no damage drop off....

So I hear a lot of people saying that "That's just how Hardlight is" and I get that point. I think what I'm trying to figure out is the relationship between Stability + Recoil Direction. Again, according to it's numbers it should shoot amazingly, but it doesn't. Far far from amazing actually. So are those numbers false? A note on the Screen Shake - I don't think this shake is just a visual affect, the gun bounces along with that shake like a bronco at a rodeo. The screen shake is definitely not aesthetic otherwise the gun wiould still shoot straight, just with a little shake. Even with 3 Energy Recoil Mods equipped, the gun bounces all over the place, it doesn't make sense given it's values. Is it really broken?? Can we please have a Dev chime in?

1 RespuestaI honestly have no idea. Bungie gives us this really neat weapon AGAIN and refuses to fix it. Shakes like an epileptic Chihuahua in a snow storm!

Stability is great. Gun cause severe screen shake to offset the lack of damage drop off. Otherwise it'd have infinite range with laser accuracy

I honesty think the Ricochet perk is what keeps the stability below 80% even when it's maxed.

Editado por Xzabath: 3/31/2018 5:12:48 AMIt's always been like this, even in d1 days, just how hard light is.

Yeah seriously, the screen shake is obnoxious.

Been that way since day 1 with hard light in D1. Its stable, but just had massive screen shake.
