The worst out of this is that they did not even fix the glitch itself, its still their and the last faction rally was mor then a moth ago and they still did not fix it but throttled the players. And not only that but in that time they did not fix how boring it is to farm faction tokens, so now not only is public events the main thing you are going to do during this event but its one of the only things you can do as lost sectors are not really even an option anymore as they throttle you if you do lost sectors to much AND the faction catches that blow up in these lost sectors don’t reward you with anything at all except for completing 1 daily challenge..... at this point lost sectors are 99% a worthless waste of time and space and leaves me wondering why they even have them in the game
So now if you want to do faction Rally Just continue with grinding public events as it is THE fastest and most rewarding thing in this boring game full of things that don’t matter and waste space and time. I would even argue that the game itself and the game developer are a waste of space and time and resources as i can think of lots of other developers that could use all that money and time to make a really good game.

-
But you cant explain why its redundant i bet.
-
The irony of this complaint centering around the fact that players are required to grind different events to get Faction Tokens instead of being able to exploit a glitch to get limitless tokens hurts my head. "I don't want to grind to play this game." "Where's the grind?" What's the point? Just play it or don't. These threads are cancer incarnate.
-
Dont fix the glitch in that 1 lost sector. Throttle every lost sector across the game. Stupidity at its finest.
-
it was in multiple lost sectors but the way they "fixed" the lost sectors is extremely lazy especially since they had more then a month to fix this bug that affects all lost sectors by just making it impossible to open a chest twice just from loading up a different instance. it really shows how incompetent and lazy bungie can be.
-
Im not complaining about then fixing a bug (which they did not do btw its still their) they instead blanket throttle all lost sectors making them a waste of space especially their little faction crates you can shoot only rewarding you with like 5 faction tokens a day for destroying 15 of their crates. Lost sectors are a waste of space and time.

Correction: 15 Tokens for the Daily Faction
-
Thanks for the correction, i remember doing the daily faction challenge the other day and all i really recalled when i did it that morning was disappointment so i guess my bad.

These threads are cancer incarnate.
So tell me, the way normal lost sector loot gets awarded works correctly right? You can only loot the lost sector twice before moving on to another one? If you say yes. Hmm weird
sarcasm
THEN WHY THE -blam!- AREN'T RALLY TOKENS WORKING EXACTLY THE SAME WAY IN THOSE CHESTS? You get one or more planetary tokens from a lost sector, so why the hell isn't rally tokens included in the awards loot pool (of lost sector chests) and have it only award said tokens during the event? Holy shit it's such a complicated concept right? Surely it's super duper hard to make a kind of token work like planetary tokens work huh
-
Yeah, who knows, maybe I'm the cancer. I guess I just don't care. They put a time limit, then I'll just adjust my playstyle. Loot Chest Strike Loot Chest Crucible Loot Chest Strike Man... That's so hard though.
-
Not so much hard as time consuming. The extra time delay from cycling between planets, matchmaking and so on, can be significant waste if one only has an hour or an hour and a half to play. Bungie once said that they respect their players time. The use of a lockout which restricts ALL of the loot from a Lost Sectors cache and not just the faction tokens, based on an invisible timer certainly is a funny way of showing it.
-
You act like you are going to do the stile playlist then jump to the EDZ to loot a lost sector then jump right back in.... but anyone who grinds like a pro knows that is the worst way to grind or have fun. The best way to grind and have fun would to assemble a team together and just do crucible or strikes. The best way the grind would be to just do public events.... this way that you say is not hard but its time consuming, ineffective, and not even fun. Especially going to orbit every single time... yea that sounds like a blast. Their is a reason we wanted fast travel without going to orbit if you didn’t know my boi
-
Played for 2 hours last night, did a strike, went to EDZ, did a couple loot caves, did a couple public events, did a couple loot caves, nightfall. Ranked up 4 times. I fail to see how this new system is hindering me. I will be able to make the 30 cap by next Monday, which as I understand it, is the goal. Nightfall gave 15 Tokens Public Event Heroic 5 Tokens Daily Faction gave 15 Tokens Cave gave 3 Strikes gave 7 You know... looking at this, maybe Bungie wanted you to actually play the game rather than just drive in circles for hours spamming easy small caverns.
-
No one is going to do lootcaves other then the people going on the forums defending this action to proof a point. You also say “they want is to play the game” but as i said people are not going to do lost sectors, we didint do it before faction rally and we still wont do it because drum roll please........ its a waste.... of time...... and space.....
-
So Loot Caves are a waste, PEs are boring, Strikes take too long to load in/out of. Why are you playing this game again? Is it just to have something to complain about?
-
Btw im “complaining” because 1: this is a community forum for a videogame product 2: i spent 90$ on this game + season pass so i have every right to play this game and complain about faults with it especially when a shit ton of people have a similar opinion or consensus on a product 3: really enjoyed destiny 1 after taken king and was one of my most played games in 2016 but this is a disappointing outcome of a sequel but does not mean i jump ship because i want a better game.
-
1: The complaints you have all end with a "what's the point" mentality, so I'm confused why someone who has given up on this game would scour the forums aside from looking for more reasons to be angry than they already are. 2: Same, but that's the sort of entitled mentality that leads to this bandwagon "I'm important, if I yell loud enough they'll listen" nonsense. I used to love going on these forums to discuss RP, story, or just swap fashion tips, but the "me, me, me" cancer has taken over so every thread is nothing but the same garbage on Ctrl+D. 3. TTK was fantastic, but if you're telling me that when RoI came out you were losing your mind with how deep the story was, you're lying to yourself. TTK was a beautiful fluke, and the only thing RoI did right was adjust light levels for older content.

Btw here is a link that we might be able to find a middle ground on because i can understand not agreeing with me on my opinion on the lost sectors i mean whatever i think its useless because you don’t get these tokens faster then all the other activities in the game that are just as long fine.... i can understand that.... but at least agree on the fact that the cool down should not be invisible https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/7r0qtk/i_should_never_have_to_come_to_reddit_to/?st=JCJJSOFN&sh=1848b8a9

When it comes to cooldowns, I disagree wholeheartedly in having something I cannot plan around. Most games *do* offer something visual that lets me know how long I've got, but quite frankly Bungie has *never* been that transparent. Not in all 3 years of D1, so I don't expect that to change. I do believe D2 has a wealth of issues, but I also think that it's an unfortunate fact that any games tied to the 3 Horsemen of the Gamepocalypse should be handled with care by prospective players.
