I have to agree. My son and I play a lot - and we won't even attempt the nightfalls by ourselves.
We'll try *maybe* once a week to guide - and most of the time we get the PUG through it, but last week - one try and when the boss was at 20% with the last cut scene still to go when time expired, we never tried again.
If there were no timer, it would be a much better experience.

If you and your son would like a hand add me otimus888prime and we can make your NF experience hopefully alot better

It would be a better experience for people that are not able to easily do within the time limit. It's supposed to be a difficult endgame activity. The game is ridiculously easy as is. Leave it alone I say.

Yet they removed the "Nightfall" modifier where team is sent to orbit, because it was too difficult? Pssh bring that back
-
Yeah I liked that modifier a lot. I struggle with English a little, I don't understand the context of your reply?
-
In a logical term kick to orbit was end game why remove it if it felt challenging when a timer just feels too Rng,boring, lazy and lacking in the challenging department. Ive ran NF 4 times this year and the timer is just so idiotic as a modifier it hurts my brain trying to understand bungie way of making end game content that i just straight up gave up on D2. I gave osiris 1 hour of my time, straight up just bad

I agree, I can be down with something else other than a timer but it's only an issue to people that can't complete it easily on time. There is no need to rush. If the timer adds no difficultly for you then it's a non issue, I just ignore it. I understand that a different modifier would be better however if it has the same level of ' difficultly' as the timer then people will still struggle and complain . In short, I can agree that it's not a fun addition and a different modifier in its place would be better. People who complain about the timer itself instead of a lack of modifiers in my eyes are just salty because they struggle doing it on time.
