2 RespuestasIf there's one thing that annoys me about Trump more than anything else, it's all the shit he says about Britain. Everything he says is either exagarated beyond reason or flat out false. He makes it out as if Britain is ruled by terrorists when to be honest, terrorism is very rare, especially outside of London. And I say that having lived in 2 major cities for the last 2 years. I mean the IRA probably did more damage to England when they were active then any Muslim extremist. To top it off, he's now using a group that was too extreme to be part of the BNP to back up his point and try to give them legitimacy. I mean they literally form "Christian patrols" to intimidate Muslims. If that doesn't sound like the SA in the 30s I don't know what does.

He can share what he likes as a private citizen but as president of the United States he shouldn’t be retweeting [i]any[/i] videos (no matter the source) that encourage division and hatred of any particular religion or segment of the community. As president he’s supposed to be above that. He’s supposed to be encouraging harmony within the community and engagement with people of all faiths. Why doesn’t he share videos of people from different faiths working together and getting along? Sharing these videos only incites further hatred. I cannot imagine any other president doing something like that. Even conservative presidents like bush encouraged religious harmony.

Islam, being a spiritual/political system, should not be aligned with race, and critics of Islam should not be slandered as racist. The President's tweets are in line with his conviction and determination to eliminate radical Islamic Supremism. In conclusion, GEOTUS did nothing wrong.

30 RespuestasThe woman Trump is retweeting was arrested and charged for hurling racist abuse at a woman who was shopping with her four young children, simply for being a Muslim. To anyone not understanding, the problem is that these people fail to draw any distinction between extremists like Islamic State and normal Muslims. There is most definitely a very big problem with Islam at the moment, but we need to realise this is not representative of most Muslims, and we should not treat normal Muslims like terrorists. Jayda Fransen treats normal Muslim people like terrorists because she lacks the intelligence to understand they are not the same thing. Trump seems to be showing he is also capable of drawing a distinction between the two. I can't imagine how law abiding American Muslims must be feeling right now. I'm guessing they would be concerned for their own safety.
