Destiny 1 had me hooked for 3 years.. Destiny 2 pushed me away after a month or so.. why can't we get an honest answer as to:
What happened?
What went wrong?
Why did they intentionally take so many steps backwards?
Why did they make this game so empty and boring?
Destiny 1 had:
secret missions like the black spindle
hidden quests like NTTE
very complex puzzles like the Sleeper Simulant and Outbreak Prime (that many of us wouldn't have solved without YouTube or other community help)
Meaningful rewards.. loot that actually effected endgame and could change how you play..
Those are just a few of the things.
Remember that list they put out a month ago? The list of things they removed from D1 to D2 but only labeled it as "things they want to implement in D2"
I'm sorry. But as a 3 year fan of the game, this is just unacceptable and condescending. No apology. No explanation. They ignore the questions we want answered and comment on things like "bring back sparrow racing"..
Bungie can't be this dumb can they? They had to have known turning their backs on it's fans would lead to this.. the only explanation is they are doing these things on purpose, because they want this game to fail..
I get most of this might be subjective to my opinion and thoughts.. but are their really people out there that think prestige raid gear should be equal in value to that blue that drops from a public event? Are you really ok with the only difference in endgame activities being cosmetic? Because Bungie made these changes on purpose, I just want to know WHY?

82 RespuestasThey answered those questions, but people refuse to listen and refuse to accept the answers. Destiny 2 is a game that is being made for a different kind of experience and a different kind of gamer. This is not a game that is designed to be played for hours and hours everyday. It's not a game designed to keep you grinding by being stingy. It's a game that needed to make changes to fix core systems that didn't work in the first game. It's a game that's designed to be played until you get the things you want....you leave....and then you come back when there are new things to get and new things to do. The issue is people need to stop treating this game as Year 4 of Destiny 1, but realize and accept that it is Year 1 of Destiny 2.

4 RespuestasApologize for what? Making a good game? Its not Bungies fault some people have forgotten how to have fun with games. Mainly the deviants addicted to grinding for god rolls.
very complex puzzles like the Sleeper Simulant and Outbreak Prime (that many of us wouldn't have solved without YouTube or other community help)
I think they got rid of it because it was kind of pointless to have items in game that no one would ever figure out how to get. They just made it where you could get everything in game, instead of having to use third party, or other external sources. Its like the dead ghosts. They were tiny easter eggs hidden in the most obscure locations, and some of them were basically impossible to find. I remember watching a youtube video about all this stuff and thinking that it was a waste. I am all for interesting quests and the like, but the esoteric hidden stuff is kind of absurd. That's just my opinion though.

1 RespuestaEditado por themirror2man: 11/25/2017 7:12:52 PMMaybe d2 will be rolled out to what Bungie has planned and that's it. No d3 no more destiny period. They may have a concept already in the works that will be the focus of the Bungie corp. Maybe that's why d2 is so "bad". It really is a cash grab for the next project. I don't mind d2, it is what it is. But after what the did with RoI leaving legacy players behind I'm convinced Bungie is callus to what the fan base needs. Just my 2 pennies.✌

Bungie has answered questions, you 99%ers just choose to ignore it to keep crying

They didn't apologize for rigging the XP system that was confirmed to be rigged during Clarion Call event. Didn't even acknowledge their wrongdoing in rigging the XP system, so that in theory it'd push people to buy Bright Engrams(lootbox gambling). So do you really think they're gonna apologize or own up to their mistakes, even the mistakes that hurt the fans?
-
Why is it during the latest stream reveal, deej kept saying they had a stream time constraint. Like are they really that busy??? Lol isn’t there like hundreds that work there? I don’t why they can’t do a simple Q & A. I mean we know a public event works bungie and I’m sure we can figure out how materials work to forge a weapon lol

2 RespuestasThey think adding dlc will make people happy. They ignore the fact that the content isn't the problem, it's the stupid changes they made to the game that is the problem.
-
Bungie doesn’t care.
-
Why is it so hard to understand... D2 is a lazy sequel made by a lazy development team. Their communication just reinforces this fact. You get fat from preorder...you get lazy from preorder. Human nature guys. Preorder is the cancer...the gamer is the cure. 🕹🤘🏼✌🏼️

2 RespuestasThey went out on a pub crawl the night they did the finishing touches to destiny 2 so if the game looks like it been made by a 7 year old that drank a five gallons of beer then you're probably right
-
It feels like they just wanna brush everything under the carpet and hope people forget
-
Because they are rolling in money they don't give a shit about us dude they have quite literally no man skied us

2 RespuestasBecause they know people would still buy their game or dlc. Next week they'll start the hype marketing like usual.

Editado por Devasstator: 11/25/2017 3:15:06 PMBungie has made it abundantly clearly through piss poor communications and support that they do not care about their customer experience. They clearly have a fragmented blame culture and that spills into their way of dealing with customers. Doesn't help that Activision wants to turn every game into candy crush now too...

Editado por phildev: 11/25/2017 3:06:52 PMBecause they think that they do not need to because they did not make a mistake and everything they did was as intended to create a soley casual player oriented gaming experience. proof that they knew what they were doing and that they are aware of gamers problems with this title: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfOZLu0BQZE they should have at least disclosed the fact that this game´s only target group is casual players and gamers cannot find any incentive in playing this game longer than the story campaigne and even than think it is shallow.

7 RespuestasI never played D1; did it also push you towards microtransactions by intentionally hobbling the XP gain and negating Fireteam Medallions in the process?
-
Because they're bungie. They don't need a community anymore. Play as they want you to play and throw money at the screen. I doubt they even understand that people can walk away from the great bungie.
-
Why do they need to apologize? Have you been asleep the last 3 years?
-
Editado por Legion: 11/24/2017 8:39:18 PMAs much as I hate to say it, they did nothing wrong. They provided a game and it isn't exactly what we expected. They basically repeated the business practice from Destiny and there were posts warning us about this, yet! We did not listen. I don't know what you were expecting after seeing how the first one was handled. With this in mind, you only have yourself to blame.
-
21 RespuestasFor starters why should they apologize ? they did nothing wrong... if anything you are in the wrong as you keep complaining... if you dislike something then stop it after you complained once... If you acted like you do now in a physical shop rather than hiding behind a screen & nickname then you would have been dragged out by security long ago... get a grip on reality...
