DeeJ and some colleagues at twitchcon revealed some great up coming changes that will solve quite a few issues. I will forget a few things so if I miss anything let me know so I can add it. They have been listening to us! Destiny season changes brings a big update to the way we expirence and play the game. These season changes are given to everyone and are [b][i]NOT[/i][/b] DLC. A season lasts for 3 months. In season 2 there are a few things we will see -Vendor rewards overhaul. There is still a token system. -Season 2 iron banner armor and trials armor will have ornaments, to unlock these you will have to complete in game challenges. (Note there will be one more season 1 iron banner without changes) - you will be able to purchase weapons and armor with glimmer and legendary shards from Lord salad -each season will bring sandbox changes, weapon/ability tuning (Deej stated instead of totally nerfing powerful weapons they were going to give us new weapons that can compete with them) They also mentioned how they are working on giving us more weapon choice. This part was vague but he hinted that they know sometimes we wish our favorite primary was an energy weapon instead? Need clarification here. -The dawning is the next event (similar to festival of the lost) this will take place in December it sounds like. This will bring some new eververse items and snow ball fights, Also ice hockey will be playable in the tower during the event. New items are -exotic ships, sparrows, and armor There will be a new event we get every now and then called Clarion. During this time you get double XP while playing with clan mates in certain activities. This will allow you to quickly earn light Engrams. Season 2 also brings faction changes! Better ways (more enjoyable) to earn gear and weapons. There will be new weapons up for grabs and armor ornaments which look like badass shaders for the most part. Again all season changes and the content that it brings is not DLC. They will have 3 streams in November to reveal more details and most likely the osiris DLC. If I forgot anything list it below!
