The worst Iron banner there has ever been.
Nothing like playing 20+ matches and getting multiple hand cannons, sidearms and grenade launchers. Good times. Very rewarding.
Edit: plenty of upvotes let's keep er going hopefully bungie sees this and does something. If they want us to grind at least give us a few more tokens win or lose.

%110 agree. 8 hours and I got 4 titan marks and 4 sub machine guns. Only got the chest piece. Are you serious?! I wont have time to play to get anything else and especially not the full set at the way items drop. Horrible

This Iron Banner is the worst shit show I've seen in destiny. Play 400 rounds because you get 2 tokens on the losing team just so I can cash them in and get 5 scout rifles in a row (true story). Mine as well cut my dick off when playing with random people since they just want to run into slaughter boxes instead of trying to capture a different point. Then we're 60 points behind and the game is still going because there's no mercy rule. Then there's emperors respite, where spawning on the C side is almost a guaranteed loss unless the idiots you're playing with can capture A and flip it.

I started off just playing and playing, dumping in a load of tokens, was getting the same thing each time, but when I spread it out I started getting new stuff! Can't say for certain, but is this what other people are finding? Could this be the case for everything... exotics engrams included?

1 RespuestaBungie, if you read this please fix loot system in Iron Banner. I have cashed 600 tokens - still no armour set, but many many duplicates. Here's 2 constructive suggestions: Please fix the Iron Banner drops to avoid duplicates, or remove the ordinary crucible gear at the end of matches (replace random legendary crucible gear drops with Iron Banner drops at the end of matches), or remove ordinary crucible gear from loot pool so every Iron banner package gives 1 IB weapon and 1 IB armour piece. Please please please

1 RespuestaI remember when Iron banner was fun...the loot was worth it, and had a clear path to get it. I've opened well over 40 engrams now on my titan, i've gotten all the guns (multiples of multiples of times) and a single pair of legs....and a pair of gloves. that's one damned character. I've ZERO interest in this bloody grind for the other characters....The armor looks awesome...and that's frankly all I want...but not a chance in hell will i be grinding that crap out for more crucible shit

Honestly, -blam!- the loot. The real problem with the Iron Banner is the same one plaguing all of Destiny 2 pvp -- the downgrade from 6v6 to 4v4 and big maps with lots of paths to tiny asymmetrical garbage as well as trash spawns where you spawn right in the middle of the enemy team so you can die 3 seconds after you spawn and lose up to 3 points in a goddamn game for something you literally had no control over. Pretty bad when sequels remove and/or dumb down content that was fine in the first game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

4 RespuestasTokens suck, this whole token system sucks. I miss having loot drop at the end of a match. Now I have to grind and grind and grind. I don't think I will play PVP again until the next Iron banana because it is so hard core right now. Groups and whole teams of 4 going up against a group of random solo players. How can anyone enjoy this. Lets break it down. I'm mainly a solo player and I like to grind but when you go into a match and there are 4 people on a team that can work together and they completely destroy us. I get 2 tokens. Ok no drop from the match just 2 tokens. Now even if i got 20 kills and no one else on my team got a kill I get 2 tokens and no drop. Don't say anything about the worthless blue drops or about legendary engrams because they aren't worth anything at this point, i already broke down 20 of what they might give me. Now i need 20 of these tokens to level up and get an iron banner engram. that is 10 matches if i'm losing which as a solo player i am doing a lot of. 10 games and I get my engram and what it is, a hand cannon that's ok. i can add it to my collection along with the dead orbit junk. Another 10 games which at 10 min per game is almost 2 hours with time in orbit and i go get another engram and what is it? Another gun. So 6 hours of pure pvp game play and I have 3 guns that aren't much different from all the other guns in the game. O wait did I tell you I want the entire armor set for my titan and my warlock. so 6 hours and nothing I want. This event only lasts a week. this is or course worst case but this is what is happening. I opened 9 engrams and got the titan mark and gauntlets. lots of guns but I don't want those. How much time do i have to spend getting my ass handed to me. I like to grind but it's friday and i put at least 13 hours into iron banana this week. might have to spend my entire wekeend playing iron bullshot to get what I want and I mean 12 hours a day, maybe more. Bungie, who the hell thinks this is in any way fun or the way things should be. If your one of those jackasses that are going to make a stupid comment about how im bitching about not getting what I want don't waste your and my time. On day you will grow up and have a life and wont be able to grind endlessly because you life with your mom or girlfriend and have nothing better to do but play and troll the forums. I will play to get what I want but I wont in anyway enjoy most of it because it is harder then competitive mode right now. this is a massive failure in my eyes bungie. at least let the iron banner loot drop at the end of the matches so i have a better chance to get all my gear and still have time to mow my yard.
