We have a bunch of smartasses saying locked loadouts aren't for raids. When I posted this it was at the time when we believed locked loadouts are for raids so please ignore this.

2 RespuestasSo, basically what you are saying with the edit is that maybe conjecture and guessing at half hinted at things are probably not the best thing to do? I hope so, because that means maybe someone learned a lesson from this.

Lock Loadouts and Timers are Antifun. Bump for awareness.

2 RespuestasMake the enemies harder? So that people can come on here and bitch and moan about bullet sponges and terrible mechanics. Yeah, went down that road with year 1 bosses and then the taken, respectively. Hard pass

1 RespuestaEditado por Anedime: 8/23/2017 7:20:18 PM
And it's not like we even switch weapons that much when we're doing raids and missions so I am going to wait and see how it works.
Why does it matter what we do during Raids? Locked loadouts are during Nightfalls, not during Raids.

9 RespuestasWhat is the motivation for amassing every weapon in the game if you can't swap them out whenever you like? I'm not sure how this makes the game harder, there was nothing stopping players from not swapping their load outs in D1 if that's how they prefer to play. This will not inherently improve the interaction with enemies, increase difficulty, or magically make the actual gameplay mechanics better. If you thought LFG was no fun before, this is going to be insane. To join a team of 5 they are going to be so crazy specific about your loadout and subclass/perks that it can only make it more difficult to find people to play with. I don't see how this is supposed to make raids more difficult. However, it is clear that it could make them more inconvenient and less fun. This seems like another mechanic designed to force players into clans. We'll have to wait to see, and I'm interested to understand why this is such a great idea.

Now that it's nightfall only I don't mind it

11 RespuestasIt's only on nightfalls and it's a creative way to make difficulty. Making enemies bullet sponges is lame while making you lock into a loadout is a creative way to challenge people for an end game activity.

1 RespuestaSo you cant change weapons in pvp or strikes or single player? WTF????

2 RespuestasThey put this feature in the game specifically to prevent Crucible players from adapting to their opponents' strategies, thereby making it easier for scrubs to win. It's pathetic. They're ruining their franchise trying to make the crybabies happy.
-
Stupid feature for PvE. Maybe it's fine for PvP for trials but still mostly a waste to even add it to the game.
