Activision playing fancy with preorder numbers?

Here's an example of what may be going on... Of course I made up the numbers. DESTINY 1 preorders PS3 = 100,000 XBOX360 - 100,000 PS4 - 100,000 XBOXOne - 100,000 This clearly shows 400,000 preorders DESTINY 2 preorders PS4 - 75,000 XBOXOne - 75,000 PC - 75,000 This clearly shows 225,000 preorders However, since there is no legacy console D2 game, is Activision comparing just the PS4/XBOXOne numbers and adding in the PC numbers? Hmmmm... I think so. So, if you go by my theory D2 is out selling D1 (225,000 to 200,00) Don't think Activision wouldn't pull this fast one on you. They're not lying, but they are playing tactics with the numbers. All business models do this. Even to their shareholders. EDIT: Destiny 1 was a huge pre-order, but it was also followed by a huge return to GameStop. I don't know about you, but I saw more used Destiny copies than most other games. The players left are just the small core of fanboys. The bulk of Destiny 1 preorders are no longer playing... so in what world would they pre-order Destiny 2? I'm not saying my numbers are correct, but I am implying that Activision did something similar to skew the numbers. Sorry folks... something smells. But, I love the hate... love seeing fanboy muppets bend over.
