Forget all your shenanigans with D2. I cancelled my pre-order. I'll just stick with D1 until Anthem drops. You bums! Edit: I've posted my dislike for D2 beta and the path that Bungie is taking with D2 on various other posts. However, I should recapture that discussion once more in order to provide some clarity. Bottom line upfront, D2B was very disappointing. There was compounding issues that make the game unenjoyable to the point that I don't want to play the game in its entirety. Those issues are - but not limited too - weapon loadouts strategy, slower cooldown rates, ineffective supers, grenades and weapons, increased TTK, extremely SLOW gameplay, and weak graphics. The gameplay was extremely slow. Movement did not feel crisp. It was like I was moving in slow motion. Besides all the error codes (that's another post in itself), Gameplay - both PVP and PVE - was entirely too slow. Very disappointing. Secondly, the cooldown rates were almost nonexistent. Even when they did build up, I wasn't impressed with the effectiveness of the supers or grenades ( oh yeah!!..the Warlock' s nova bomb is a straight up FAIL!! WHY DOES IKORA STILL HAVE A HARD HITTING NOVA, WHEN I'M STUCK WITH A PURPLE, SLOW MOVING WATER BALLOON??!! You guys really jacked that up!!) The increased TTK was observed - IN PVP and PVE. Not a fan. Let's ts talk PVE shall we. In PVE, it took entirely too long to down all the adds. Dealing with all the bullet soaked adds was very pleasurable as I dumped mag after mag into 'em. Yeah, right..whatever. Again, not impressed. I don't want to any go into PVP. But yeah, same same. Anyway, I've been a fan since Halo 1 and followed Bungle up til now. Most of those that created Halo and all of its awesomeness is no longer part of Bungie. Bungie is capitalizing off of what once was - a shell of what they use to be. Bungie had normally produced very great work in most cases. Not everyone can be happy with all the nerfs, buffs or tweaks, however, I feel that they are taking their fan base for granted with D2. I understand that we were only exposed to the Beta for D2, so I truly hope that Bungie make drastic improvements with the overall gameplay for those in the community that enjoys Destiny and the route it's going. If not, I see a distinct drop in it's fan base. Finally, for me, I felt like I was playing a basic, generic first person shooter game during the beta....and for that.. I'm out!..Pre-order cancelled..Bungie in their current state SUCKS...like it or not!
