Fix these 2 things in pve, and you may have a winner. The two primary system for pve worries me though if heavy remains scarce.
EDIT: Someone pointed out nerfing enemies' health somewhat in pve. Is that the answer?
EDIT: Nobody likes the idea of enemy health reduction lol. Sorry to whoever suggested it.
EDIT: This is the community consensus from people that mostly enjoy the beta
EDIT: My personal opinion, the super charge is fine, more ammo in general needs to drop, control needs to be 100 points so it's not all supers at the end, and abilty charges need a faster cooldown.

Editado por GrundleBeans: 7/20/2017 4:07:05 AMIt would be nice if supers charged a tad faster, but we don't have any mods to play with that might increase charge rates. If they aren't made faster by default, then it's still not the end of the world (considering our supers last longer). This can also set us up for faster or more powerful supers the next DLC or the one after that if the story has us regaining our Light or somehow upgrading. Power ammo seemed okay to me. If you bother to go after the random enemies near the spawn point of the strike, they will drop all the power ammo you need. And again, we haven't seen what mods can do yet.
Someone pointed out nerfing enemies' health somewhat in pve. Is that the answer?
I would disagree for two reasons: We're not 400 light and level 40 in the beta, and enemies at or near our power level should feel like a challenge when there's a bunch. If it were any easier to kill them we might as well be playing in the same Cosmodrome.

Definitely need more heavy drops! Bump bump!!!
-
1 Respuestaheavy armor is w.e, primary ammo though. Like am I supposed to be using my elemental weapon like it is my primary one?

1 RespuestaJust remember all of you, what happened to destiny 1 with all the whinning and complaints calling for nerfs... they completely ruined it. Maybe, just maybe, you should actually try and enjoy a more difficult game this time around, instead of needing it baby-fied like a kindergardian and everything handed to you. I think we can ALL agree we dont want bungies hands too much in it to ruin it again... aside from tiny tweaks or bugs obviously. Oh and remember, you start with trash weapons & gear, so cant judge those.

I did the strike solo ran out of ammo multiple times it's kind of stupid

5 RespuestasBiggest mistake Bungie ever made: Not separating PvP and PvE balancing. What is good for 1 is bad for the other. We want to kill things fast in pve, slower in pvp. We want specials / heavies to feel strong in pve but not break pvp. We want moar supers in pve, less in pvp. These 2 worlds can't coexist on the same balancing scheme. Bungie has tried and failed for 3 years now, and they're still failing. And it's further compounded by the fact that pvp is the driving force of ALL the balancing changes. PvEers are just kind of along for the ride watching all their favorite thugs get crushed and nerfed over and over and over and over and over in order to balance pvp. Until that changes, it's just going to be nerf after nerf after nerf and they will never get it right.
-
"Super charge" is fine? It's so slow, it seems pointless to have them. How often did you use yours in the strike? Felt like 3. Now, I acknowledge that we're probably low level with the crappiest gear but still.
-
Golden gun is horrible
-
Luke Smith stated they are changing the power ammo drop rates in PvE....I do agree with you about the supers though
-
Ammo in general, feels dry in PvE. Never had to worry about running out of ammo in D1..
-
Doing the strike, I used my grenade launcher at the first bosses assuming I’d get more. Only got 1 throughout the rest of the strike. Seems to be consistent with multiple strikes completed. Learned to just save my heavy until the end.

Editado por NioBiuM xAELiTe: 7/20/2017 3:23:58 AMI'm guessing that there will be weapons and armor in the full game to charge supers and/or abilities more quickly, based on what you can accomplish with a build. Examples: - "Kills with the weapon help charge your super" perk - Helmets that drop extra orbs may still be a thing - Army of One perk (quick unassisted killed decrease ability cooldown)
-
Lack of any ammo in pve Slow super Slow pvp ttk Clunky pvp Weak pvp melee Zone capture should still give super energy Weak hit detection on fusions Targeting off on supers Good but not good
-
1 RespuestaEverymatch (pvp) everyone gets their supers at the same time... intentional? I'm not sure if I like it or not
-
I just want primary/secondary/heavy back. This is change for the sake of change.
-
It's one thing to nerf ability damage, and it's another to nerf charge. Both did not need to happen
-
Thus, the beta has qualified the buffers (and if applicable nerfs) that will need to be done before initial release, and likely a bit of turning, after initial release to dial things in. Patience is the word applicable here. No, I am not defending Bungie... just having worked in the IT industry for 30+ years, including code and system design work, such is typical of what we call a 'dot-zero' release.

-
Very noticeable not having a tier 12 build helping reduce charge times. This was to be expected, we are not our normal uber selves. Lvl 20 light lvl 200 people......it's suppose to be this way. It was almost challenging.

I think they should make a power/heavy brick have a value. Power brick = 100,000 hit points then divide by rounds so if rockets hit for 25,000 a shot then you get 4 rockets grenade launcher hit for 10,000 a round you get 10 ,So if snipers hit for 5,000 a round you should get 20 a brick etc.( Just for pve) you should get a lot more rounds per power brick and the Reserve should be huge ( 75+) for fusion, snipers, and shotguns. because your giving up brust damage for sustained damage and then you can keep the enemy health the same.
-
I don't see a lot of people complaining about the slow grenades and melees, so I'm worried Bungie will keep those the same.
-
They just need to balance these things separately for pve and pvp
-
3 RespuestasI think you mean lack of power ammo and I think you're wrong Most matches I was able to grab it every time it spawned in, the only time I had to fight over it was if I was going for the same one as the opposite team. I think the spawn rate it good, drop for only one person is good, but they need to nerf the amount of fusion rifle shots they give you - fusions are definitely the meta right now because of that and their aim assist & range Supers need to charge faster, grenades need a slight damage increase, scout rifles need to not suck so bad
-
2 RespuestasScout rifles may need a buff, took almost a whole clip to kill a red bar flamethrower guy. Kind of ridiculous.
