NOTE: I have been fielding a lot responses regarding the Close and/or Personal perk on shotguns, which does allow Strikers to OHK full health targets. Just to be clear, the point of the thread is that Storm Grip does not intrinsically OHK; it doesn't OHK without external buffs. Anyways... Charged Striker melee does 158 damage. Add Discharge (which no one uses, but just for the purpose of illustration....) and you have 171 damage. (+13) The HP value of anybody running 1 armor is 186. 186 > 158 and 186 > 171. It's simple math.
