So...I pre-ordered the Deluxe Digital edition today...

Now before I go on and people start calling me a "Bungie shill", let me just say my girl friend LOVES Destiny (much more than even I do), in fact, besides the new Gianna Sisters, it's the only game she will play on PS4. I have Been saving up some money for her birthday and I asked her what she wanted today, even gave her the price range I had to work with. After work (we both work at the local animal shelter) we needed to do some shopping in wal-mart for some household stuff (Laundry detergent, dish detergent, etc.). She tells me to go on ahead and she will catch up with me. She then finds me about 10 minutes after, holding 2 $50 psn codes, so I ask her "What are those for?" to which she responds "I really want to get Destiny 2 for us when we get home, because Destiny was the first game we really enjoyed together." The thing is, I am really, REALLY against pre-ordering, but...I smiled and told her that if that is what she really wanted we would get it. After we checked out and got everything loaded up, I asked her about the rest of her birthday money, to which she stated that she wanted to go to her favorite, local pizzeria where we had a good afternoon together and headed home which I then loaded up the codes and got the pre-order set. Now someone might ask "Why not just get the regular edition of the game then?"....well....she really wanted that deluxe edition sword. TLDR: Despite being against pre-ordering I got the person I love a gift that meant a lot to them and something they really wanted.
