A solo player's path to Destiny 2

Greetings Guardians! A solo player here, with nearly 1,500 hours into the game. I am the typical, middle-aged, casual gamer who spends a couple of hours at the end of the day to relax from work and blow off some steam shooting aliens... Most of the time spent into patrols, story missions, strikes, public events and the Crucible (especially Iron banner). I have very little experience with raids. And there was a very short period of time while I was a member of a group and did stuff with other people (except for the matchmaking of course, which I do all the time). So, here's what I like about Destiny 2: There will be more stuff for a player like me. More areas to explore, more missions to play on my own, more public events where I can participate (knowing their location on the map), more story to be revealed in-game, more chances for random encounters with strangers which I really enjoy, and a more challenging PVP. And more shooting, based on the same unprecedented shooting mechanics and awesome gun play we've all known and loved in Destiny 1 with new guns and abilities. And maybe, just maybe, I'll have a chance to find some people to play with through this new, in-game Clan-finding option, although I don't care too much about this - but it's a nice-to-have-option. So, yeah, if you are a solo player too, I think that Destiny 2 will have you pretty much covered.
