16 RespuestasLet me just find a Reddit post to steal. It'll be a snarky jab that originated in r/politics, and I'll caption it with something equally condescending. When my replies inevitably explode, I'll ignore constructive arguments that pick my ideas to pieces. Instead, I'll go after low-hanging fruit, but I still won't form proper arguments. I'll just quote a portion of some seemingly-ridiculous statement and caption it with, "lol." When I slip up and start a conversation with somebody who manages to put my ignorance on full display, I'll stop replying. I'll actually mute that person, but then unmute them after being ceaselessly criticized for using the mute button as a way to silence arguments that I can't rebut. Even after the unmuting, I won't engage this person or their arguments. My ego can't take the hit. Despite my intellectual cowardice, I will make posts like this several times a week. You get three guesses, everybody.

I've never listened to Kanye West and I have no contextual understanding of hip-hop, but I know it's bad music because the angsty music I listen to in order to subvert the feelings of neglect I suffer from (thanks dad) is better in every way. Oh god I'm so unintelligible that when he offers to teach me something about science, I see it as an effort of exercising his pseudo-intellectual superiority upon me, because I don't want to make the mental effort of thinking esoterically.
