According to the U.S., France, and Britain, the attack was committed by the Assad regime. Rex Tillerson has received backlash, due to the fact a few days earlier he said that the new administration would not be as tough on Assad. Your thoughts?

2 RespuestasEditado por LxGhostSniperxL: 4/6/2017 1:58:09 PMIt's absolutely disgusting and hypocritical of Trump to call out Russia for supporting the Syrian army killing civilians with chemicals when just last week the U.S. killed 200 civilians. And, for those of you supporting Trump with what he says, what did you say to me last week on that post? There are civilian casualties in war and we shouldn't care? Well Trump seems to care. Only problem is he only cares when someone else does it.

1 RespuestaEditado por dfegan11: 4/6/2017 10:21:46 PMTrump says they crossed the line with this one. Yet the line still hasn't been crossed by the Saudis in Yemen, despite being touted as one of the worst humanitarian crises in years. Huh
inb4syriahasWMDs
1 RespuestaWasn't Syria supposed to turn over their chemical weapons back in 2013? Further proof the UN is useless.

Editado por Onion Beetle Fan: 4/5/2017 11:44:00 PM
According to the U.S., France, and Britain, the attack was committed by the Assad regime.
Their opinion discarded. How do the countries U.S., France, and Britain know exactly how the attack happened and why was the blame on Assad already without any investigation? Back in 2013, the rebels funded by America used chemical weapons and without a hint of irony Assad was blamed for the chemical attack. Gee, I wonder why.

3 RespuestasI still sit and wonder about what Assad would gain from using Chemical weapons on like 50 civilians. Assad is winning the war. The Rebels are on the run. Russia is stepping up military aid. "I KNOW, LETS DROP CHEMICAL WEAPONS ON A BUNCH OF KIDS! THAT'LL SHOW EM'" It makes 0 sense. Why draw more attention to your war effort when you're so close to victory. All using chemical weapons will do is draw international anger to it. There is no reason to. He's winning just fine with conventional methods. Also complicating the matter is that Russia oversaw the destruction of the last of Syria's Chemical stores. Coupled with the fact that John Kerry said, in 2014, that Syria no longer poses chemical weapons. But lets just gas the kids, right?

25 RespuestasDon't listen to this narrative. Syria bombed a weapons depot containing chemical weapons. There is absolutely no reason Assad would use chemical weapons. It brings no benefit at all.
