If we are gonna argue fiction, might as well be about Star Wars.

5 RespuestasI thought it was always people who are atheist who started these arguments,at least that's what religious people always tell me.

There are fossils of previously existing lifeforms, there's living evidence of evolution in the birds of the Galapagos Isles, and, as many Christians throw around so liberally, there are people who simply have faith in science.

Editado por fr88g: 3/12/2017 7:51:12 PMYou had to broad of a title. Otherwise I'd be down. Or you could say something to start it off instead of expecting others to. You made he post don't be lazy say something like I believe in the existence of god and that he created everything.

The burden of truth falls upon the one making the claim. So the real question is, where is your undeniable proof of god?

2 RespuestasFossil record. Genetic record. Archaeological record. Take your pick. But note they are not easy subjects to learn about hence why people just make up shit like 'A supreme overlord guy in the sky did it'

Personally, I'm more adogmatic than atheistic. I believe that some form of higher power exists, though I also believe that any religion that claims to "understand" it or that they are "chosen" by it is full of crap and trying to sell you on something.

15 RespuestasPeople act like Atheists are people who only believe in science and consider religion blasphemy in their eyes. Religion just isn't for us. Some of us like to open our eyes to new parts of the world and find other peoples culture fascinating, rather than claiming it's outright wrong. Sadly, I do see some Christians in the neighborhood take to this mindset and shelter their child from things such as evolution, sex, and the properties of space itself. I'm not saying that religion is stupid. I'm saying that we should learn to accept our modern age and realize that we shouldn't be bound by a God of sorts. We should instead base our decisions and such on common sense and our personal morals, which religion does promote. However, the belief of the pastor may warp the beliefs of others and cause the behavior of some religious folk in my town.

19 RespuestasThe question I've always wanted to ask a hard core Christian, who does not belive evolution can occur.... So if Adam and eve were the only 2 humans made, and let's say they were both white. But it works if they were both darker skinned. So you have 2 white people and everyone descended from them. As time went on, ppl moved around and filled the planet. Well the "white ppl" that ended up in Africa then became dark because their bodies decided darker skin would help be out in the hot sun more.... well if they're bodies changed to deal with their enviroment better, isn't that evolution. Aren't skin colors evolution. Changing pigments is evolotlution, yes?

47 Respuestas
Tell me what observable proof their is to defend your "science"
The science of what, exactly? Atheists don't claim anything that requires proving.
-
69 RespuestasScience isn't limited to atheists. Anyone with half a brain accepts that scientific experts know better than they do about natural processes. It has nothing to do with religion, even though some religious folk like you wish to suppress/undermine scientific progress.

I'm an atheist, but okay

Evolution happens all of the time.

weres your proof of God ?

We all come from the same primordial Genomic beginning. This is why we share 50% of our genes with a sea sponge. These shared genetic markers within our DNA are all that is needed to prove the existence of a start point. Because if we were all individually created it would be rational to find that all things have unique genetics. But we do not.

8 RespuestasAtheists don't need to prove anything. Religious people need to prove God.

13 RespuestasI'm not sure if I fully believe in evolution. I believe in adaptation though. Evolution is adaptation to the point that an entirely new species is created. Adaptation is observable in humans. Just look at skin color. Darker people are found near the equator. And as you leave the equator, people get lighter. This seems like pretty strong evidence to me.
