Bungie.. Seriously.. FIX SPECIAL AMMO
We all know you're busy trying to bring back recycled content for us. We're ecstatic and grateful and never question what you do for us.
Bring back the god damn special ammo and put someone on the team that can actually bring worthwhile value to the crucible.
Ok, I understand i'm coming off self centered and unappreciative but seriously now.. A percent of the community asked for a shotgun nerf and we get a cascade of nerfs. ITS NOT DIFFICULT TO LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR COMMUNITY WANTS. You want a successful sequel to this game.. don't you? Then WHY remove ammo where I cant use half of my weapons.
This patch was a DOUBLE nerf to special weapons with ammo removed and primary buff.
Bring back the ammo, keep the nerfs/buffs, listen to your community and stop fkn around.

It should be whatever is in your clip when you die is whatever you have on respawn or something.

78 RespuestasIf they revert special right now along with the coming NLB/Skorri changes this meta would be very enjoyable. Reloading my sniper and my shotgun every minute is just dumb, and being forced to use an icebreaker or a sidearm in elim/trials isnt right. We should never be forced into weapon choices. Scouts/Pulses can combat snipers efficiently, and Handcannons can combat shotgun pushes efficiently. There was no need to neuter all special weapons now fusion rifles are even less revelant.

15 RespuestasThis made me finally quit playing. I doubt I'll be back for the age of triumph other than to log in and see how much progress I start with. Crucible is no fun anymore. I'm already 400 and and don't really care about any new gear I can earn. Crucible is what has kept me playing this long. I think I might be done until D2

8 RespuestasI've never done better in the Crucible than now. And I've never enjoyed the Crucible less. I refuse to surrender to the meta and have my hunter settle for a sidearm. My Titan does that, but he's a scout user and avoids close-up fights. I likewise refuse to deliberately enter combat while at half strength, and s Guardian with no special is just that. Therefore, every time my hunter gets offed, I have to hide until her Invective recharges, or locate a special crate. Death is more frustrating. WAY more. I recently finished a match with 11 kills and only 4 deaths, but I was cursing my stupidity through most of it because of how long it took to recover from each of those four deaths. The Crucible should not be like this.

Just get rid of the sidearm ammo buff and let us start with nothing but primary.

They should at the very least make special ammo autoload like heavy does when you open the box.

Uhhhh how come everytime I use a special weapon other then a sidearm...... i literally have more special ammo then I need. I've used a shotgun as a primary 80% of plenty of matches now and I just went .47 k/d with her benevolence and i had special ammo readily available 90% of the time I spawned.... which was a lot since I died every 2 seconds because i hate widows court... but i mained her benevolence and went for those jumping quick scopes because yolo didn't care...... so what's the problem again? Ive had no problem finding special ever. Heck i picked up special got nova bombed instantly, spawned in and there were 2 special boxes ready to grab right where I spawned lol

Primaries arent buffed enough, this is evident with everyone running around with sidearms which are basically a TLW with primary range.

I want to use my primary, but right now, it's more effective using my melee. Over the last 13 games of rift, many with over 20 kills, I'm still not done with primary kills on the weekly bounty. Most of the games that I've gone below 1 k/d were because I was trying to use a primary. It's stupid I can go positive and get more kills just punching shit.

All I know is I took a break from the latency fest for a couple weeks, played all day yesterday and now I can't get the sound of Icebreakers, sidearms and sticky nades out of my head. Geeezus fickling cricket dicks people. Is this what you all mean by telling people to "adapt"? Good to see more primary use and it's better than the shotgun circus but still just as lame and only slightly less annoying. On a side note and to top it all off, I'm getting matched against try hard fireteams EVERY SINGLE GAME. I love Destiny and always feel like something is missing if I don't play for a while no matter what other games I play, but I already feel like taking another break.
