Necrochasm
Hello, I wanted to know if Necrochasm is going to to be returning? It was finally buffed before the release of TTK. And it was relevant for like a week before it was left behind, which is a shame since it is a cool weapon that is hard to earn. And it seems silly to just sort of leave it there considering the lore of the weapon. Not to mention it's relevancy to the story of Destiny, I would think it could go for an update and be brought back in. Hope to hear back thanks.

I think that it will be coming out with the revised raid with to the age of Triumph.

16 RespuestasOne can say the history of Nechrocasm is a microcosm of the Destiny/Bungle experience. Nechrocasm was the marketing jewel of The Dark Below. Hype for it grew immensely and the DLC it came with. To get the Nechrocasm was super rare and many people began to associate rarity with quality. Husk of the Pit was glitched, wasn't dropping, had to be patched. THEN, you needed Crux of Crota which was also very rare. So rare we all thought you had to equip the greatest shader of all time, GLOWHOO for it to drop. Then you do all those things and get the gun and guess what? It's terrible. Bungie buffs it. As OP noted, left behind a couple short weeks later. Is this not the typical Bungle experience when you look back?

I have a special attachment to my Necrochasm, I have some very fond memories of it. So I'll still run around with my year one even if it does hit year 3

Bungie confirmed that Vex Mythoclast is coming back, so Necrochasm will very likly also return.

Don't get me started on that [u]d[/u]ick move! I was lucky to get the crux fast, but the gun was useless even with primary burn and then they just left it behind. I even invested time to get it to 170 light! Grrrrrr!!!

I also feel this way. ALSO bring back its arc burn because Necrochasm wouldn't be Necrochasm without its arc burn... just like the Fatebringer.

I just got my crux yesterday. 22 HM run. I hope I don't need another crux. :(

As I haven't got it [i]yet[/i] which I am STILL trying (I've tried atleast 15-20 times for crux now) but even though eidolon ally somehow kicks butt in crucible (atleast I have played good with it) it would be awesome to see a y1 exotic return. Yea people are gonna cry about it but that is kinda unavoidable and I'd still be awesome to see it at y3 light.
