And Bungie wanted to finish the fight in Halo 2 but couldn't make it happen. Shit happens in the development process. You have three choices.
1.) Get over it and buy D2
2.) Don't.
3.) Continue to bitch about something that won't change
As for why you should play D2? Uhh, for fun? The main focus of video games?
