That was two years ago, quite obviously things have changed. And until there's confirmation I'm holding onto hope that cosmetic kiosks will carry into Destiny 2, they haven't specifically mentioned them and it's only an implication that it won't. Is it really that big a deal that you'll have to relevel subclasses, charactets, and get new gear? No, not really. You keep your characters, you're just starting from the beginning. I've got so much useless crap in the vault I can't bring myself to delete so a fresh start would be great. Not to mention doing it this way still lets people play Destiny without being forced to upgrade. Kind of like when they cut last gen consoles.
