Why do people still call for nerfs when its clear nerfs have beyond ruined this game?
Just curious as to what is their thinking process?
EDIT: I put this out there to try to make people see how bad this game has gotten in comparison to what it used to be. Yes there has been things overpowered. VEX, Suros, Sunbreakers damage reduction at first, Arcbolts, Thorn, and shotguns when they first come out. But now? Its just overused. U have one clear best choice and everyone goes to it but sadly most posts are nerf it. Clever dragon for instance. Few times I see buff other primaries. Now I see nerf NLB cause of flinch and STILL I see nerf subclasses. R u freaking kidding me? Nerf Subs what the hell left is there to nerf? If a sub cant have one or 2 STRONG, not OP, STRONG abilities then make every class the same damn thing. D2 is coming out and im not interested in seeing that game be ruined by this nerf crap nor am i interested in seeing the rest of Destiny 1 get ruined any further by this.

Used by both good and bad players: Its easier on bruised egos to tell yourself that you're losing because the other guy has this overpowered weapon or ability (and therefore an unfair advantage), than to admit that he's simply better than you. Or he has found a weakness in your game. 2. Used by good players. Sometimes an ability or weapon is frustrating that players particular play style, or his position of dominance in the game ("skill gap"). Therefore he wants it gone, and the fastest way to make it disappear is to insist its overpowered and to get it nerfed. You see the latter in all the demands for nerfs from Trials players, and they angle around one another trying to find whatever competitive edge they can. 3. Something is genuinely overpowered. Though this is the rarest reason of the three.

Unfortunately when people write out their problem in that manner they lose sight of the problem as well. Which becomes an issue further in that the users on here, and the internet as a whole, can't reliably read. So after all of that all points of discussion are lost.

The community that remains has been conditioned to think nerf first, that's why. Most of the people that could see the pointlessness of the exercise left long ago. Guess I'm just a dreamer and hoped it might get better, but it's worse, way worse than ever. We'll all get another taste of how bad it is with the livestream this week, and next week. My gut tells me people are going to be pissed.

I believe that we should buff all grenades or nerf stickies it's that simple. Same with buff throwing knife I also believe we should nerf sniper cause they clearly in the wrong place it's been made into a point and shoot scout rife the quicker you can do it the better it not gun which rewards accurate and patience like it is on the battlefield which is why I want a sway put in when moving while in scope and loading bullets and for the scope time to be nerfed so it's not a long range remote no wonder we don't use anything but sniper in pve.

Answer: Nerf Herders are still calling for nerfs for a few reasons: 1) They still & always will believe that overused weapons are overpowered (few examples: The Wormwood, NLB, Palindrome ect.) Overused and Overpowered [b]DON'T[/b] mean the same thing & they will either never understand this or don't care to. 2) They are selfish pricks that can't handle being outplayed and killed constantly 3) Probably the most important of all, nerf herders [i]are pros[/i], they should never die, period! It's [i]never[/i] their fault if they do. If they do they will come on here & make a post crying about the weapon that they are killed by.

One shots should be difficult. Special is half of what you had after death. Nades should have 60 sec cool down. Everyone who runs full armor should take two head one body from HC and survive a sticky without burn. All stickys have the same tracking as flux nade. Buff everything else to .75 TTK. All done games great again.

The game has been broken for over a year now. Players taking more damage then they are supposed to has been an ongoing problem that Bungie has never addressed. I have played matches where you are wearing paper armor and others where you are a god. I have had matches where a players shields will recharge while I'm emptying a mag into their facemask. I have had my k/d swing from 0.3 to 6.0 from match to match against the same opposing team without changing anything. Lousy player location ping rates and poor hit detection on top of P2P servers. How is this anywhere near competitive play quality or how can you even gage how effective your weapons really are?

People calling for nerfs because Dev team is more inclined to nerf than buff. Asking for buffs is a waste of time so might as well ask for nerfs to what is strong against your favorite guardian/weapon loud out.

When that gun gets nerfed, they just move on to the next gun that offends them. It's just butt hurt players looking for an advantage, players blaming their average play on the guns, or a combination of both.

But there are a lot of unreasonable nerfs too being suggested by the whiners. Big difference between them and playstyle preference

They are always running on the assumption that Bungie is putting a lot of thought when they nerf things. Such as "well it is in the game so it was clearly needed and people clearly like it if it was implemented into the game". And also "this weapon I grinder for hours to get isn't as good as a one hit kill weapons. Clearly the problem is that the one hit kill weapons must be cut down". I would guess this is the thinking of a lot of people that call for nerfs. Also a lot of people want to shut down the idea of buffs for really simple things. I never really liked the one hit kill crap but I asked for buffs. An example is when I use my gunslinger I would activate the super go looking for guardians then get one hit killed. When that happened I asked for Bungie to buff the gunslinger armor in super mode a lot of people said "no just be more careful when you use the super. " All the f*** head nerfers are screwing this game bro.
