You must not own a vita. The vita is awesome. I can be outside by the pool , chilling, drinking a beer, and playing my PS4. Also, a lot of the PS plus games are cross buy with the vita, so you end up getting three free games per month for the vita. Also, all of the games that are cross buy can have their saved progress synced with the PS4 version , allowing you to progress in games you normally play at home while outside of the house.

Then you aren't using it right. Either that or you don't own a ps3/ps4 and cant remote play.
