They didn't force anyone... I still don't use side arms because I don't want to. Special spawns like every -blam!-ing minute...

rebuff shotguns, snipers and fusion rifles to the glory days then they feel special and sidearms stay the same with the actual special ammo economy it would be better than now

It's an annoying pit stop and was basically just a nerf to make specials irrelevant instead of primaries relevant.

But with everyone using sidearms you can't use shotguns effectively because you get mowed down before you even get close, you can't jump because your accuracy is all over. Same as fusions.

Which is exactly why you are defensive of them, I understand that. But a time will come where people will consider them too much. Same as shotguns, then you'll have to adapt I bet.

Not really, I can use shotguns, voop with fusions, and aim a primary, just won't bother with snipers, too passive and boring....

Pretty much the reason I'm not enjoying sidearms. The engagements are boring and predicable. I've been using dregs promise because that one at least feels fun to use.

Never liked it, don't like burst fire, or bullet travel, got to be hitscan for me...

So for example that last word you are using is out of rounds and you didn't reload properly and the opportunity is there to get a kill you switch to special.

Fusions are non existent now. Literally 0% usage. Snipers stay consistently high in the usage stat mainly due to no land.

And I loved fusions and hated sidearms but in this current meta sodearms have the advantage...

Completely agree, but every other special in the game loses all their ammo, so why can sidearms retain all of their ammo instead of their 2 mags?

Because that's their gimmick. They need more ammo due to the fact that they can't 1 shot

I understand that, but it feels like the ammunition for sidearms is so abundant and most of it is unnecessary. You shouldn't keep all of it, and when you do, this Crucible happens. I honestly think you should just keep a portion of it, not all of it
