Hahahahahahaahhahaa I'm beginning to think this whole balance thing is just a joke... They nerfed the worst super in the game, and left Hammer of Sol (pretty much Bladedancer on steroids) untouched....
In all seriousness though...
Let's just have a moment of silence for Bladedancer....
Edit: Well this post really blew up... I'm trying to respond to most of the comments!
Edit: A lot of people saying Hammer of Sol is just as bad as Arc Blade.... Not trying to start a class war because at this point I don't even care, but that's simply not true in the slightest. All the advantages of HoS: Better mobility, has a ranged attack, better at close range (Suncharge OHKs Blade but Blade (a "melee-based" super, also a single thrown Hammer kills a Blade...) takes 2 swipes to kill a Hammer), and has more armor. Again, I'm not trying to start a class war, I'm just clearing this up because I had to explain this to at least 3 people and that number will only go up. Gotta admit i lull'd at the "worst super" bit. How bout before posting on a subclass you actually have all 3 and play them. Then you can make informed decisions. Cuz it sounds like you dont know much bout bladedancers or how OP they will be on tuesday

3 RespuestasI've barely played as blade dancer before. Last week I hopped on and noticed mayhem was the weekly so when I got around to playing on my hunter I decided to go with the blade. I came away thinking it was definitely the weakest super in the game. The only thing good about it was just spamming skip grenades with shinobu's vow. So they want to nerf both? They are going to nerf blink again too? Does anyone have any reason to complain that blink is still OP?!

Sunbreakers got nerfed because they had a K/D that was .05 higher than the rest. The Bladedancer consistently holds the highest K/D across all game types of around .05. And all they are nerfing is 1 perk. But by all means piss and moan about how unfair it is that this bit of diversity is bad, but nerfing shotguns and high-RoF pulses is great.

It has always 1 shot head shot, while with a hammer, only high damage snipers could one shot head shot. So really because Josh(GG in the stream) is crap at crucible at can't kill a Blade, he thinks that he can nerf it to the ground and have everyone be okay with it. Here's his words "So we tweaked the Hungering Blade Perk, and by we, I mean me, so that...." Josh hares blades, so he nerfs it until unusable, with blink and hungering Blade gone, their is no reason to use it. What most people also realized is that Josh doesn't see the fact that our shield, is our health, he forgot that our overshield was nerfed with the last couple of patches. This is just annoying that we have players that can't even aim try to fix a game, that in the start, was not needed to be fixed. Edit: Also, no one was using anything but a shotgun in the last game that they played.

10 RespuestasFunny how all Hunter complain the most. Do you realize that Bladedancers have the best neutral game of all subclasses? Quickdraw and snapshot built into the subclass, best grenades in the game, a OHK melee that can trigger from the front, even tho it's called backstab. And now one part of your super gets nerfed because the only way to take down a bladedancer was either by using a shotgun and melee which had a 50-50 chance of success, or by another super. You never stop to amuse me.

I personally haven't considered an arc blade coming at me as a credible threat since year one. If you have potato aim they will kill you. We saw from the stream the bungie devs have potato aim. They also said that they nerfed blade due to 'personal frustration'. What.

They took away the over time health regen which can be stoped by any type of damage, and replaced it with a lump sum of health for each kill. Stop bitching about every little thing.

Why is everyone in this post overreacting? PLAY with the changes before you decide that its the end if the world. To me it sounds like a buff against multiple enemies at once but a ever so slight nerf to just roaming in your blade, which you shouldn't be doing anyway.

3 RespuestasWhat's the one thing that consistently shut down a bladedancer? SHOTGUNS. They nerfed shotguns somewhat, and it's more likely you won't have shotgun ammo with the changes to special ammo.. The nerf makes sense. Stop being baby back bitches about everything.

I main hunter and I don't agree with the "nerf" of bladedancers but ya know what? I'll still play bladedancer. MOST LIKELY will rage here and there but being a bladedancer was always my favorite subclass regardless of nerfs. I just wish they didn't touch the subclass negatively. Should atleast frikin fix the armor during super and atleast OHKO with every swing. I'm sick of trying to kill a sun breaker or a storm caller or a goddamn bubble -.-
